Man years ago I found both ward and bizzle on datpiff. They both were an introduction to chh even before 116 and all them. I obviously fell hard into bizzle first and found the brother datin there. Then as I got into battle rap, ward Loso and saga carried the torch further. I never paid much attention to comments and interviews. Just battles and music. More and more I’m seeing stuff like this and realizing the community is much more aware of one another and the relationships and it’s really cool to see. Lmbo this is facts. I tried battle rap at a friends going away party. Pride took over i had to repent and i told my self i would never do that again. I didnt curse. I didn't like the feeling of talking bad about a person. I wanna help lead people to christ and not talk about them. The only christian battle rapper I fully respect is loso. He does it the correct way. I don't know how he does it. Thats nothing but God.

When I first got saved, God had to strip me from many things, one was listening to secular music. I found myself as I listen to certain secular music, my flesh rising and began to submit to these unbiblical thoughts and actions. It wasn't until years later that I was mature enough to handle certain type of secular music, even though I rarely do because these Christian artists are so gifted that I have no desire to listen to other forms of music.

i can relate to this so much, since becoming a christian it's been really difficult to rap because my raps were really explicit not really overly verbally profane with curse words but I was definitely talking about stuff a Christian shouldn't. Honestly I think I'm probably gonna have to give up a rap for Jesus, I admit it's not easy but in the end it'll probably be to my benefit.
