I am crackin up!!!! Me and my sisters met a group of Bahamian men months ago and they DEFINITELY left an impression. Im an American Country girl and it’s crazy how similar our cultures are. I love my Bahamian man. You’re so right about the flattery. Yesterday he told me I look sexy in my glasses. I told him he’s just flattering me now. He told me he’s trying to flirt. He just wanted to make me feel good about myself and show me he loves me as I am. Self sufficient, absolutely. Strongest man I’ve ever known. Integrity, wisdom, full of love. His mom has passed, but no question he loved her immeasurably.

@@ThisBahamianGyal You nailed it with " The Harder They Fall". I watched the movie with excitement. The promo had me salivating. I could not wait, a "Black Western. Black writer, producer, and cast. At the end I was still salivating and hungry, just could not bite into it completely. You described it well. It had a few epic scenes, outstanding performances and what was left was pedestrian. Predictable story line, dialogs, and great actors with little to work with. Definitely not an Iconic film...my shattered expectation. And, I was pulling for this film. Also read Coming 2 America which I have not watched. You sold me. Ain't investing the time to watch it. Your credibility was established with "The Harder They Fall ".

Im from Gabon, and i'm dating a Bahamian guy. He always talk about his mom and i love that. I feel that's the similarities with Black people. We value family. But he kills me sometimes. He's told me more than a million times that he likes me as compared to " i love you" yet acts like a lover. This gets me so confused. Hi hun. on the real, a Bahamian man can't get away with telling a Bahamian woman he just "likes" her for too long. At some point she is gonna want to hear him say he loves her. I think if he hasn't said it yet, then he doesn't love you. He may just really like you. I think you should be direct and ask him why he hasn't said it. That will give you an answer.

We kissed that first time too, after 1 month he asked me to marry him and we were married in less than 3 months of knowing each other. We almost married for 4 yrs now.
