Lol!!!! Gary I love your blogs! Full of realness and sense of humor! Your not the only person that has had dating issues. When I was single, I was on a dating site called penty of fish. Over a year I met all kind of strange characters. One of my dates took me to a karaoke bar. He bought me an expensive bottle of wine as a date gift that he wind it up drinking by himself. Once we were at the karaoke bar, he knew the dj that was playing the music. Seems they had gotten into an argument weeks prior when my so-called date was there with another girl. Needless to say they got into an argument and we got thrown out of the bar lol. I have had my share of horror stories so I understand. Don't worry your adorable and a sweetheart. The right guy is out there for you and you will know when it's right ❤️

Sometimes love comes at the oddest times and places. I found my husband 35 years ago at a resident camp for kids. I just knew he was the one. Our daughter dated a lot but nobody was right. She's an academic, a poet and a voracious reader with a love of Buffy, Firefly and Harry Potter. She decided to play Dungeons and Dragons with some of the people from her Masters program and met her future husband, who now has his PHD in Medieval Rhetoric. I know it will happen for you because good things always happen to good people. That's how the universe works!

Listen I had one in NY where I met up in a irish bar, this nice looking disginuished (not old) fellow and we started to chat but he brought out a notepad. and started to write-after a few minutes of feeling that he wasn't making eye contact-I asked "what on earth are you writing?" He said:" I'm taking notes on our date"-well that was my bye Felicia bye moment- but 8 years later I met someone across the country and we are now married. Here's one for you, Gary. Me and 2 of my sisters went to a bar to meet a friend. Friend says to Sib #1, I set you up with a guy. He'll be here soon. In the meantime, we're drinking and dancing. We spot a guy that looked EXACTLY like our father did in his 20's! A little more dancing and such, and somehow we end up standing next to the guy! Even up close he looks just like Dad! Friend comes up and says "Oh, I see ya'll met?" We're like "Who?" You guessed it... Young Dad!!! We freaked! Sis ends up talking to him and tells him "I'm sure you're a nice guy but I can't date you... you LOOK LIKE MY DAD!" Shortest blind date ever! LOL

'Sayonara' is the word you're looking for lol Worst date I had was a guy I met at my first KZfaq gathering. We arranged to met at Waterloo on Valentine's day. He said we were going to Hyde park but got us lost claiming he knew the way. Also he never made eye contact, stared at his feet all the time and barely spoke. When I finally got us back to Waterloo, I said we should get something to eat and he says 'I don't like eating in front of people but you can get something' and sticks around while I go into BK for food in the station. Then as I go to my platform to leave he tries to kiss me as I give a hug and I pull away but get head butted into the nose.
