An old Italian grandmother took care of her family and loved to cook for her family. The role of man and woman was clearly defined. When I try to describe Thai women to my friends here in the USA 🇺🇸. I tell them to try to picture their Italian grandmother except she is hot. That's a Thai woman.

As a widow, the most important thing I got from my husband was a sense of partnership. We were in this thing together, for 30 years. Not even a thought to infidelity and a commitment to working things out. Our family was everything to us. I feel a need to remind the young men here that when you are providing for your woman, please be sure that she is able to take care of herself and your children if anything should happen to you. Stuff happens. Life happens. Provide solid life insurance so that after your untimely demise (you get run over by a tuk-tuk, or whatever), she won't have to use that feminity to snag another man to replace you. Provide her with opportunities to gain additional skills throughout your relationship and marriage. Learning marketable skills doesn't lessen feminity. It allows her to provide for your children if she ever needs to do that without you. This is such an important thing. Life is uncertain. If you love her, and if you love the children you made together, protect them...forever. Not just now. Forever.

Hi Forrest, I just found your channel a week or so ago even though I have been looking at videos about Thailand for the last 2+ year as a retirement option. Loved the ASQ series and watched the Pattaya video (and many others). I liked your epiphany on the bald watchers, this video ties into that perfectly. I'm 58 staring at my second divorce and look at western (American) women and think, no thank you, Ive had enough abuse and neglect at your hands. I worked for 30 years as a Farrier in a female dominated industry in a support role, doing the heavy lifting. after that I went into home inspections for real estate sales, another heavily female dominated industry. the attitude of women has changed so much from when I grew up and started dating. this video nailed it and cemented further my decision to make my home Thailand. please keep the great content coming. I don’t always agree or even like some things you say about Thailand and Thai culture. But I respect you for speaking your mind, that value is rare nowadays. This video is right on point. At first I thought he has succumb to the Thai charm, but you are assessment is echoed with my cousin’s (female) experience. She is an engineer and works for a European company. When she was transferred to Europe, she received a few proposals. She is not comely by the western standards. She finally asked one of her suitor why they found her irresistible. Especially amongst tall blondes they work with in Northern Europe. One of the man said I want a woman who knows how to be a woman, I don’t want a man with breasts.

Many American women throw in the towel and don't even bother making sure their hair, make-up, and attire is together before leaving the house. Also Thai women often wear dresses or skirts which is quite easy on the eyes.

Stay true to yourself. You seem like an honest guy and from what I've learnt in Thailand people can see that. I've had it as well. I've met women in Thailand (not bar girl's) who have just given me the keys to their condo. The biggest difference is from the western culture is women tend to be more relaxed and much easier going. When I was dating many years ago, boy it was hard work. There were almost like all these different stages and barriers to break down. Keep it real.

Hi Forrest, I just found your channel by accident and I am a big fan. As a chinese immigrant who grew up in southern california in mid 90's of the tupac era, I can attest that yes, growing up, nobody cared about asian males. Asian females were highly desirable but asian males were definitely looked down on and feminized. So I did the same thing, I stayed with a masculine military hair cut, I lifted weights, I learned Krav maga, I learned to handle weapons - all that nonsense to prove that I wasn't stereotypical weak male. And you're right when I did that, I did notice that females from all ethnicities did show me a lot more interest. I haven't encountered those women that you speak of that are more masculine because I tend to stick to conservative circles, so the females I run into are still generally traditional. I did have a first marriage from someone from the Philippines and that in itself had a lot of problems. So I guess wherever we go, there will always be problems.

Women in the american or in the EU have been breaking out of this stereotypes of being dependent on a man. More and more americans in my country are getting four year degrees and getting great incomes. That's upsets a lot of guys that can't compete with their education level and incomes. Going to asia you can't compare a girl that has little to no education to a western woman that is educated and able to support herself in every way.
