Now that was an outstanding drama loved every crazy scene there was and I especially loved there chemistry well done to all the actors & actresses that made this drama one of the best I’ve seen so far

When i first time saw it at the beginning of the drama, i thought he's married, through the phone call he had with Li Man. He asked her to take of mom. I don't like to watch such dramas where a married man is trying to have an affair with a young girl. I stopped watching it further & dropped it completely. Many months later, i saw some of the clips of this drama here & have a better picture of this drama. I was laughing away as it was hilarious. Frankly i have watched all the clips at KZfaq & then decided to watch the full episodes at weTV. No regrets. This drama is really good. The actors & actresses, be it on the main leads or supporting roles, really did a great job. The casting, director, & everyone involved did an amazing job. Also, truly grateful that there is English subtitles, too. The synergy & chemistry between Shengnan & Lu Jing are awesome. Overall, i love the plot, the story line & the pace of it. Not dragging on & on over an issue. So, it's not boring. The characters of Shengnan & Lu Jin are great. Strong & knowing what they want. When they encountered a challenge, one of them will make the move to talk it out & resolve it. Lu Jin, being a 36 years old, knows what he wants. Even his overbearing & dominant mother can't stop him. He knows how to balance & put both women in his life on a harmonious level. We can learn a lot from this drama. You can be a filial piety child to your parent, but this does not mean you lose your love & your wants. I really love the part where Lu Jin said at the meeting. "Don't say sorry to me. You know I hate this word. If you say sorry, I have to pretend to be very forgiving & think for you from your perspective. I can't do it. So, please, don't insult me with my tolerance to you." Par excellence!

The drama is great, but it can be greater. Shengnan is brilliant so her ability should be shown not only in gastronomy but in other fields. I especially love the way she communicates with Lu Jin's mother although she is weird in some details, or it is even silly of her to ignore Lu Jin's asking to stay away from his brother (I don't remember the name). I still hope for the season 2
