Yes, the Meets can marry without connecting!

I recommend Amazon Japan! They typically have pretty good prices, and they are a reputable company. If you're looking for an older or used Tama, a lot of people buy from Japan You Want (I have not bought from there yet... I plan on it soon. But right now, I can't recommend them from experience). Right now, there are not any color Tamas ("color Tamas" just refers to Tamagotchis with color screens) in English. However, there is a way to patch/modify the Tamagotchi P's and 4U to display English text using a specific type of old cell phone and computer. A lot of people have done this and there are some tutorials on how to do this online. I personally have no experience in this. A lot of people who do not speak Japanese still play color Tamas! Actually, I'd guess that most of the collector's I've met (that aren't Japanese) actually don't know any Japanese. Though, to be honest, I don't know how easy or difficult it is to play without knowing the language-- I learned basic Japanese before I got my first color Tama. If you do decided to get one, you're always welcome to ask me questions and I'll do my best to help! Yes, I do have some older ones from childhood! I have a couple of Tamagotchis and a few other digital pets (maybe I'll do a collection video soon?). A couple years ago, they released a 20th anniversary edition Tama. The GameStop in my area still has them in stock!

Now i have some good infromation that will help me when i do decide to get one. I may have to check out gamestop for the other one you mentioned. I use to have a few older ones from my childhood but unfortunately they were lost/donated during the move. I'd love to see your collection one day :D that would be so cool. No, the Meets app is not necessary! It has actually been discontinued by Bandai.

Yeah! If you use the expensive ring, they will say yes (no matter the color). If you use the cheap ring, they will sometimes say yes in the yellow (but they will usually say no in the other two colors).

@@boksillee With the 5000 ring, the Tama you propose to is likely to say yes, no matter the relationship status! With the cheaper 500 ring, you'll want to have a higher relationship status, otherwise they will likely say no.

The Tamagotchi Meets is in Japanese only. However, the Tamagotchi On (which is almost identical in gameplay to the Fairy and Magical Meets) is in English.
