Honestly, I’m so glad there’s a lot more being shared about generation trauma in this generation alone. I’ve been reading books about it long before these talks, the OGs like Peter Levine , Gabo Maté, and Mark Wolynn, really share Great information from a statical and evidence informed perspective. I’m happy for the community.

This was interesting But what they said on longevity isnt true , in a lomg 50 year marriage, there are many advantages. You won't be happy for for 50 years , the commitment and consistency, is essential for family. If longevity isn't emphasized, your still going to have tons of kids from single parent households. As long as there is no abuse, there would be low satisfaction seasons, its life, life is long, its very important for family stability , longevity. That's why many generations look to longevity as a success benchmark .

19:42 From memory, the good life simply says that those who lived the longest and remained the happiest were those with the strongest connections to other so how is that is that an argument for romantic partnership? Especially when by his own admission, 80% of marriages are low satisfaction?
