@@37thraven I think when it comes to Klingon they also hold a social structure very similar to our early 20th century. Their is very little chance for a Klingon like Worf for example to get romantically involved with a women from a noble/higher house. I think as Worf mentioned, honor and status play a part in it but any Klingon that is tenacious enough will get any women. The amount of Honor you accumulate determines your worth and status if you are male. Worf before joining the house of Martok had little honor because his own people believed he had rejected his heritage.

don't know why people think someone needs to be dominant. It's rather twisted if you ask me. A relationship is best between two people of indomitable spirits who would never want to do something as horrible as dominate another person. That's how me and my spouse do it. Neither of us has easilly bruised egos so we don't feel threatened by the other's strength.
