It’s a creamy Bhutanese National Dish, which can be made in 2 variations, Ema Datshi & Kewa Datshi. Ema means Chilli ; Kewa means Potato & Datshi means Cheese.
It’s super easy to make with minimal ingredients but traditionally they don’t use processed cheese. You can have it with either rice or your choice of bread.
I’ve been making this dish since 3 years now, and I’m glad it got noticed on the internet!
Ingredients :
• Butter 1 teaspoon
• Garlic cloves 2-3
• Green spicy chillies 2-3
• Green, yellow and red bell peppers 1/2 cup
• Potatoes 2 sliced
• Carrot 1/2 sliced
• Water
• Salt
• Any type of Cheese as much as you like
