if you are sticking with the orig EFI, it would be best to NOT delete stuff. For the most part its needed for the engine to start and run properly. Even the things like the EGR are not something that will gain any performance by deleting. A stock setup starts and runs smoothly with no pedal action, regardless of engine temp. Now if you are going with a aftermarket, then you may not need all the stuff on there, but unless you are going for boost, its not likely that an aftermarket setup will enhance the performance enough to justify the purchase.

The car itself has a lot of items that are no longer working/broken and I decided I will just delete what isn’t really needed. The car starts up with small issues but because of what the previous owner had done to it like the injector connectors not going to the proper injector. For now the EFI system will stay the same but later moving to a MS2 or MS3 set up

@@adrianmejia3302 as a minimum I would put the bypass tube back in, helps with warm up and iirc cavitation issues of the water pump. Just use a fitting on the T stat housing back to the water inlet on the front cover. I assume you have a T stat installed.

I’m swapping out the thermostat since I need to make sure it’s not the radiator or water pump that’s causing an overheating issue. But the bypass to my knowledge only helps warm up when the Auxiliary Air Regular is also attached to the car. And unless you are in severe cold weather it’s typically not needed.

@@adrianmejia3302 ok, but you may want to read up on cavitation.

I have not done mine yet. Me method will be to just a pipe cutter and attach a small filter to where the cut was made.
