This was a very good spy drama with Marguerite De La Motte 💕 (1902-1950) Bela Lugosi and John Bowers who was the first husband of Marguerite. Thank You for this film! 😉

Another nice surprise! I didn't know of this film before. It was very well done.

I know this a tribute to Lugosi in one of his earliest and extant American performances. But I want to also celebrate the somewhat forgotten Marguerite de la Motte. She was more than just a leading lady to Doug Fairbanks, with a stellar career all her own. She is quite charming and looks a bit like her contemporary Priscilla Dean at times. A shame Marguerite is remembered more as wife of notorious suicide John Bowers ! She deserves better !

Interesting & enjoyable film, except for the poor quality of film near end. I like the way they introduced the actors in the silents & 1930's, & gives a clue about the ending.

This was a good classic is such a shame the ending was nearly decomposed.
