You need to learn to use google. Google Warframe, Dota2, Path of Exile, Smite, Battlerite, Unturned... bunch of Free to play games that Require NO PAYMENTS or have ANY FORM OF POWER SELLING. You are refering to mobile games, shitty MMOS and triple A games that require spending more and more cash on lootboxes that feature progression gear. See what is going on with Shadow of War, Destiny 2, Star Wars Battlefront 1/2. Many "triple A" games today turned into cashgrabbing no content games for braindeads that under such circumstances F2P games got better. They conduct business by selling u cool skins and outfits- BUT THEY PROVIDE A GOOD CORE GAMEPLAY. These cash grabs from Bungie and EA are creatively deprived and limited in content- thus they wringe their fans for their last penny. Learn your shit before you tell everyone how uninformed you are.

Firsto Name having played it for quite a few hours now it's not as cartoony as you'd expect plus it's on the unreal engine so it looks really nice especially the environment I'd give it a chance when it's free to play if you don't like it, each to their own either way :)

As far as I'm aware they are very non-P2W from what I've talked with them about, they currently state there will be NO gather rate boost or any weapon pack etc but all microtransactions will result in cosmetics or an XP boost (which doesn't relate to gear or anything like that) and to be honest, and XP boost in my eyes isn't so bad as you will probably outlevel the gear faster than you can get it. Though I see your point, I do really dislike games (such as Archeage) that are P2W.... though most of the items you will buy for dauntless will be cosmetic stuff.
