I AM FROM MINDANAO AND DAVAO IS REALLY PROGRESSING FASTER NOW. DAVAO IS THE PREMIER CITY IN MINDANAO. HOWEVER, THERE IS NO WAY THAT DAVAO CAN BEAT CEBU. CEBU IS ON ANOTHER LEVEL. CEBU HAS AN EDGE IN SO MANY CATEGORIES. IN FACT, MANY PEOPLE FROM MINDANAO ARE WORKING IN CEBU IF NOT IN MANILA

U CAN'T COMPARE CEBU CITY TO DAVAO CITY ... CEBU CITY WAS THE FIRST CITY IN THE PHILIPPINES ESTABLISHED IN SPANISH ERA AROUND 1600 WHILE DAVAO CITY ONLY ESTABLISHED IN YEAR EARLY 90's .

@@packohub1145 What! is it really early 90's wow I think you should do more research and do not keep belittling Davao because who knows one day Davao will outrun Cebu to be more progressive ten years from now. As a matter of fact entire Cebu is just a size of Davao del Norte alone and Davao City is the biggest City of the entire Philippines a lot of areas are still waiting for infra developments unlike Cebu which is small in size could be so easy to be fully develop.

I am not a fan of Davao but each city is not limited to downtown like Davao. Davao has so much to offer like Cebu. Big cities like Cebu and Davao cannot be measured by judging the downtown, which is a small portion of the city. A city must be showcase as a whole, especially a big city.

I don't know why people in comment section talks about Cebu. It doesn't make sense comparing Davao to Cebu just by the video alone. The video is showcasing downtown Davao - it's not about comparing Davao vs Cebu. So what's your point comparing the two cities when that'not the point of this video? LOl

Cebu people are just too proud of their city thinking they are the best in the Philippines. Davao City is getting popular and improving a lot, cebu people see it as threat.... so they go to every davao videos they can find in youtube and trash davao for them to feel better... pathetic people

Eactly they should wait maybe from ten to fifteen years they could see the big difference if they would like to compare but as of now davao is still struggling on infra developments and they should not keep always beliitling Davao because in the long run Davao will surely outrun Cebu in terms of developments.

In ten or fifteen yrs Davao will be like Cebu now, but Cebu by then shall have encompassed Danao, Toledo, Carcar, Mactan and even Bohol with a bridge link, Sige lang ug gukod Ang Davao pero Dili gyud maka apas sa Cebu, Ang Oceanjet napulo ka biyahe sa Tagbilaran kada adlaw ngadto Cebu

It’s a big City but drainages wise not in Good in good conditions. That’s not what i expected about Davao. Still lots of old buildings, it needed major transformations to become a modern City.

You can really see the difference in the downtown of Davao and Cebu. Cebu's downtown has more people and more bustling despite the fact that it has smaller population than Davao. Why? because Cebu has more students as it has bigger and more Universities, Cebu is interconnected to many cities in Metro Cebu, Cebu has the busiest domestic port in the Philippines in terms of passenger arrivals since 80 percent of the domestic shipping companies are based in Cebu, Cebu has the second busiest international airport, Cebu has more tourists, Cebu has bigger malls, Cebu has more jobs, especially BPO as it can offer more than 200k jobs in BPO industry alone.

You must be joking when you say there are lots of people in downtown Cebu to compare with Davao thats because Cebu City is too small to compare to Davao City and that turns to make people to be scattered in the City alone imagine Cebu City is only the size of Davao del Norte of the entire Davao region.

Like Cebu, Davao does not really rely much in downtown. These two cities are too big to showcase only their downtown alone. It is fatal for both cities to showcase only their downtown.
