I love you Dave, but this isnt the 2010 or 14' Giants in a two month slump. This is a team that NEEDS Soler, Chapman, and Snell all to play to the back of their baseball cards just to compete. I'm as optimistic as anybody about my team, but I also have watched the Giants look EXACTLY like this for 7 of the last 8 years (2021 being the only abberration). Giants don't know if they want to rebuild with their youth FULLY, or if they want to have a core of vets with just some kids that pitch in as supporting pieces. I think you HAVE to build with a young core FIRST just like we did in 2008-2014. The template is there, but for some reason this current brass isn't leaning in completely into their youth. I want to see Ramos, Matos, Schmitt, Fitzgerald, Munguia EVERY SINGLE DAY. Not a start here and there, but EVERY DAY! Until that happens, the Giants will continue to be in this malaise of mediocrity year after year after year..
