I saw a version of this group in 2000, at the Montreal Jazz Festival. I was nearly levitating above my chair: and the young Chris Potter was absolutely on fire ( even then). First time I had seen him, and I was awed. But the whole band of a force of nature

Two times live on a concert here in southern germany !! The Dave Holland Qintett live is one of the best Jazz-Live-Experience you can have on this planet !! Simply brilliant !! It's a custom-made bass Dave uses especially for travel; it's a little more compact and therefore easier to get onto planes and such.
