Dave Hunt was truly a good bible teacher, it is refreshing to hear straight talk in a world full of lies and deceit .

It's why we home church. I haven't seen a church in the last 12 or so years that has not gone in the way of Baal. We've tried and now we know better. We live as KJV Biblical Christians following ChristJesus in the Berean way. It never disappoints us! :-) Dave Hunt, what a true blessing to Christians that seek The Lord's Will and not their own. I've only recently come across these vids with Dave Hunt and have soaked in his talks like a sponge. This is the first I've heard of him no longer being with us. I'm saddened, but I'm happy that he is with the Lord. He'll be participating in this celestial drama with a new advantage. RIP Mr. Hunt.

I never liked this man when I first read a book by him but I was a new Believer and I was coming out of 30 years of political lobbying and 30 years deep inside First Nations' spirituality so the book I read was a deep and critical analysis from a Christian perspective of various spiritual and scholastic and corporate realities and how they are really of the devil. What I really didn't like was his critical assessment of Native spirituality and how most of it was from the enemy. Or rather what may have been given my people by the Creator was perverted by the devil. So I really hated this guy. But I couldn't put the book down because, well I am not stupid and I know how the world really works and just because I am Native doesn't mean my people do not have a concept of the enemy. Not a very nice one either. But I kept reading and kept reading. I had a girlfriend who had just witnessed to me and I was sucking everything up she had in her personal library. Dave writing was cutting through the crap of all those years. Well so was everything from the Lord in those days. It was great. Thank you Dave Hunt. Man alive your book and I don't even know which one it was but that and the KJV Bile and Sarah's and Monique's teachings saved me from an eternal Hell of my own making. What do I mean? Well, could you imagine coming so close to a point in your life where you thought you understood the universe and then what if one died and went to hell? You would have to sit with those thoughts for eternity knowing they were wrong. This is a fallen world and everything Dave ever critiques was so on the money. This is a very smart man. I mean he probably has a place among the greater thinkers of the 20th Century and the 21st. Other people like Charles Missler also belong to this club. Why? They took the higher foundations of what education might have to offer and rather than seek glory for themselves or their scholastic endeavors they sought glory for Him.

I miss this man ! As I watch apostasy grow in every church I have visited the last little while in my new community of which I just moved, it makes me realize even more how much we need more teachers like this. Men who aren't scared to stand up for the truth. Like a sad checklist I grow ever so much more discouraged as I see these churches lack discernment while they are welcoming false teaching into the church. I went to a Baptist Church and not one person talked to me in the six weeks I went there. I went to a Pentecostal Church and they were using Priscilla Shirer and Sarah Young materials to teach. This same Pentecostal church's pastor quoted TD Jakes, obviously enamored with this false prophet and prosperity preacher. I just moved to a small community and am running out of churches to attend. I pray I will find a man like Dave Hunt to teach but I highly doubt it. Not too many of him left in this world. God help us all.

I enjoyed him saying that when he was at university that those who majored in psychology were seen as kooks and they did psychology to find out what was wrong with them. I remembered when I had a depression episode and talked to my doctor about seeing a psychologist and he told me not to because "they are madder than you are!" Hahahahahaha!

I just heard the latest news that Dave has gone to be with the Lord. While this is wonderful for Dave, I am deeply saddened to hear it. I've learnt so much from this man. Many of us have. It's nice to hear from another brother who has learnt so much from Dave's books. I was educated at Catholic schools and loved his book "A Woman Rides the Beast". I wish all Catholics would read it though it would infuriate them. His "What Love is This?" is another of his masterpieces. God bless.

Dave Hunt was the last great apologist. For sure! I'm sorry I did not discover him way earlier then I did, which goes to show how important the KZfaq platform has been. The one thing that's needed most today are Bible oriented counselors to help people untangle the mess there lives had developed into. That's the one criticism I have of Hunt. He lacks in compassion for those who did not come from the gospel family upbringing that he was so blessed with.

Dave was a man who not only knew the Lord but tried to educate people about who they were listening to in the "Christian" world.some things I knew but as I listen it's no wonder the world is sick. It's scary but the Bible says strait is the gate an narrow is the way which leadeth unto life an few there be that find it. Wide is the gate to destruction. These pastors an evangelist have led many to the pits of hell.

I think people get confused between, "Love others as yourself" and "Lovers of themselves" This speaks of two different loves. One is empathetic and the other is pride. We must be humble and admit ourselves sinners, now redeemed. Not live selfishly thinking, our opinions and feelings., mean anything in the face of God's opinion and words.

Dave's a great Christian teacher. To my mind he's the best. He and Tom McMahon on The Berean Call. I've read several of their excellent books. Bill Salus is another excellent teacher. Pat Robertson, on the other hand, belongs to the Benny Hinn, Jessie DuPlantis, Wendy & Rory, Reinhardt Bonke gravy train. It's astonishing how people worship these quacks. He is a great teacher & a lovely man. A real filter of all that's going on in the christian world. Some other good preachers are, Chuck Misler, Walter Martin, Derek Prince, Hal Lindsey, Dr Robert Morey, Bill Subritzky. The number one as we know is the Holy Spirit, especially when reading Gods word. See you up there friends..!

I think the whole self love thing is a bit over the top as Dave tells it. Let me put it into perspective. I have little signs all over my house that tell me I love my self. I was abused as a child and the messages I received as I was being beaten usually with broom handles, belts, hands and fists, usually were "you are no effing good, you are lazy, I hate you, you are the reason my life is s__t. So all my little signs had to help me to be convinced that I am lovable so then I can receive the love from God. And then I can love Him and then others. I know it sounds a little backwards. Intellectually it made all the sense in the world that God loved us first and so we love Him and with the Agape love we have as a result of His loving us and filling us with His Spirt and then we love others as we love ourselves. I just couldn't seem to trust others in a prudent manner, you know trusting all thew wrong people for all the wrong reasons thn being unable to respond in love to others especially those in the Body. I have a lot of pain as I lost my leg 5years ago and it bloody hurts a lot. I cannot seem to trust others especially when they place unrealistic expectations on me so I just don't even do very much anymore in the Body. If I do go somewhere it will usually be because I planned on going for weeks ahead.

I've watched well more than 20 of the Total Onslaught series. The way Walter presents the Law is contrary to scripture. He emphasizes more than a few times throughout the series that Christians need to be "doers" of the Law. I'm sorry brother, but I do believe that is perverting the Gospel of Christ. We can't allow for one word of the Word to be misrepresented, or we suffer the charge of those we would deceive in doing so, right straight to hell. It's important is it not?

This man is right on. I saw a comment below about his age. I might remind you God is eternal and wisdom is gained with age. As far as the rapture is concerned Jesus talks about coming as a thief in the night. This is this is a description of the rapture. Then in John's book of Revelation another return is spoken of with a loud trumpet and every eye on earth shall see Him. If that is a this is a thief in the night I am invisible. The Tribulation is a marked amount of time , 7 Years. The thief in the night is unpredictable. No one knows the date or the time. The Tribulation is 7 years long, a week of years fixed in the book of Daniel and known as the time of Jacob's trouble. It starts immediately after the Holy Spirit is taken from the world. The Holy Spirit is the restrained and lives in those who will be raptured. It is marked by a covenant between Israel and the Antichrist which is to be 7 years followed by a break in the covenant after the first 31/2 years and followed by he'll on earth as never has been before. At the end of that which Jesus must cut short to prevent goal destruction of all flesh everyone is raised from the dead. There is no description here of one taken and the the other left in field, at the grinding mill, or in the bed where two are together. No because the pretibulation rapture is the only explanation for the two descriptions of His return. So then if this is not correct tell me how He comes as both a thief in the night and with the return of every viewing His return including those who pierced Him and Time is declared as no more. Enoch walked with God and was not for God him before the flood. Noah was preserved during through the flood. This is a shadow of the rapture before the Great Tribulation. Paul describes this as well saying the resurrection shall occur with every Christian, but in his order, Christ and the first fruits, then those who are His at His coming, then come the end. When Christ arose many came out of the graves and were resurrected with him. They showed themselves to many in the city. There we have the first fruits. Others I could tell you about who did not see death on the earth but are now in heaven. You need to read the entire Bible. Imogene.

I love Dave Hunt and supported his ministry for 30 years, but I feel he was wrong on what is called "Calvinism". I found a good Reformed Baptist Church 7 years ago and though at first I fought with the Calvinistic teachings, now that I rightly understand them, I see God and the faith in a much higher perspective. Most people only know a little about the Calvinistic view of things, so they think it is wrong, as I did. I encourage anyone to look into this more carefully and read some of the authors from hundreds of years ago, who were brilliant and holy men, before this ungodly age we live in. There are some misguided Calvinist too, so you will have to weed them out. But I would say that on the whole, Reformed Churches are less likely to be of the lukewarm type and less of them are falling into the Great Apostasy movement that is trying to re-invent biblical Christianity, by bringing in the worlds ideas, music, drama, etc. This is about eternal life, we all better try to get it as right as we can, and be serious about our own personal sanctification. It is easy to point fingers at things, and rightly so at times, but we need to examine ourselves as well. Keep the faith and get away from CCM, it is poisoning the church!
