Tony Khan needs help in every area of the planning, the presentation, and the marketing, but he's too proud (or too sensitive for critique) to get out of his own way. Busted Open was good then they started adding Thunder Rosa and marks like Denice Salcedo who just says “and and and” over and over. Send her to a radio 101 class ffs. I’ve been saying this since AEW started. I want to get into it and I want to like it but every time someone I don’t know shows up I’m like…wtf is this guy?

I stopped listing to busted open because Dave would go out of his way to not say a bad thing about AEW in fear of Tony getting angry, and he wants it to thrive as we all do, but Dave is part of the reason for a lot of AEW’s early success, yet he is also the reason for its fall to earth. He’s quick to criticize WWE but would give AEW a pass earlier on, he was almost dave meltzer like. It wasn’t until others in the business started calling AEW out leaving Dave no choice but to mention it as well, considering he has a lot of WWE fans listening to see if he would also continue to praise AEW or be willing to point out their flaws and weaknesses like he easily does with the WWE. Once he started a light was shined on AEW and they lost viewers. Tony believes his way will work and he throw money 0:18 at his problems instead of calling an audible and fixing the problem, AEW could be so much more with half the Wrestlers but he signs so many of them for the Quick pop and nothing else.
