Just revisited this after a few years. I don’t know how I missed it before but the similarity between the Senegalese music and Latin salsa is really strong!!

How Dave has never recorded from Africa is beyond me. Unless I’m missing something… I watched this as a teenager just dumbfounded and now all these years later i am still just that way. What an amazing place.

I agree, "If you abuse drugs you can still become successful doing what you love and travel the world" is a much better PSA than "drugs are bad and you're bad if you do drugs"
