My 13 year old son was battling cancer for the 3rd time, and he and I would sing this every day at the top of our lungs in the car on the way to the transplant hospital for his daily treatments. He survived. Every time I hear this song, I think of those times. When DMB played it live a few years later while I was at their concert, I called my son on the phone so he could hear it live. Thanks guys.

My finace died the day before Thanksgiving in 2020. This was going to be our first dance. Today was the first day I got threw the whole song without breaking. I found him passed of a cardiac arrest. I dont think I'll ever get over losing him. This song just takes me back to our time together...Love you Jeremy..rest easy love

Every time I watch this video my eyes well up with tears at how beautiful it is that all of these people came together to play music. No politics, no hate, no division, just a bunch of happy people playing music with Dave Matthews. Pretty effing awesome.

My father introduced me to Dave the moment I was born (2004) Constantly overplaying it and overplaying it until I finally understood what I was missing. I love this band with every fibre of my being and I have for YEARS. Carter got me back into my drumming, I owe so much to these guys and I can’t wait to see them again at my next concert!

I’m laying in bed at 1:00am, and for some bizarre reason, this song came into my head and I had to hear it. I haven’t heard it in at least 3 years. When I was younger, my mom would play this and we would sing to it. I remember going on long drives and my mom would play this song on repeat just to annoy my dad. I completely forgot about this song until now, and I’m so happy I remembered it. Tomorrow, I will make my mom play it, and we will sing!

Dave Matthews is a talented, lyrical genius and I'm in awe every time I watch him sing!! The depth of feeling in the lyrics that he sings with raw emotion in his voice and face, it's hard not to feel what he's feeling, especially in "some devil"...gives me chills lol

My husband and I are celebrating 8 years of Marriage and 10 Years together ❤️ this week. This is the song we danced to on our wedding day and it is wonderful to come back to watch it and still get the same chills. Life has been rocky for us but remembering where we started helps a lot. Thank you!!

I still remember when I was 8 years old and my dad sat me down in front of our old windows silver computer thing, and played this video for me. And the other time when he was painting my room and I came in and this song was playing on a little ihome speaker. This song kept my life together watching my parents divorce, it means the world to me.

This song, makes the hairs on my arms stand up, it makes me feel totally free, lost and in love. I have always loved Dave Matthews, I remember listening "crash into me" & " american baby" with the sunroof and windows open driving down the mountain pass at Natures Valley.... dreaming imagining finding love and being happy and content as the music would make me feel. Then I found my "you and me" and then I found this song. Dave Matthews Band is frikken amazing I love your music and I love the way it makes me feel. My Dad loved every single Dave Matthews song. I woke up to it every Saturday morning. My Father recently died on January 9th. Ironic how it was Dave Matthews Birthday. This song was my parents song when my elder sister and I where babbies.

Isnt it wonderful how music can take you to a place that regardless of whats going on areound you, you can find a place where a smile, or a tear is a reminder of all that we hold to be true and of worth. This video expands upon that for me. Love Daves music, and they do a great job with the vids too. Love it.
