hello, i'm indecisive if i buy the Prophet 8 (with keyboard or rack) and the Rev 2 to 16 voices. What advice do you recommend to me?

Rev 2. The sequencer on the Rev 2 beats the hell out of the Prophet 08. I wish I could sell mine and get a Rev 2.

@@GARDNSOUND yeah, teh sequencer is better, effects, but... I don´t know if just my unit (one of the oldest), but the P08 has much more color, like 30% vintage knob on the P6

I see you have both midi in/out plugged in. Could you tell me how you route it with your DAW or whatever...? Tanks a lot!!

Midi out goes into the midi in on the interface. Midi in plugs the midi out on my interface into the keyboard. This allows me to play my prophet as a midi controller and also send it commands from Ableton to record its main outs!

Very good sound but boring without the ratcheting fonction in the sequencer... Is it so difficult to include Mr Dave Smith ? Sequencer is just a question of code... Look at Intellijel Metropolis... That's a sequencer...

Philoupaulo 62 metropolis is a $500 sequencer.....this entire synthesizer can be had for $1000 these days. Use a software sequencer, like Kirnu Cream, its $79 I believe and can do ANYTHING. The 8 step limit on Metro gets old.
