The most annoying thing in sim races is when YOU KNOW you are faster than the guy in front of you, but keep doing little mistakes and can't get him!

iRacing's track limit regulations are a mess. Going from Imola that gives you a 1x for looking off track to Aragon that gives you a ton of space off track.

Pretty sure this has more to do with the track than it does iracing. Pretty sure they use the real track limits for the track/series. Like brands hatch has two off track patches of gritted track that wont give you a 1x. But oultan has the same gritted line of track but you will get a 1x there. Pretty sure its based on real life track limita

I hate tracks like Aragon with ambiguous boundaries, where you're required to be on the rumble strips all the time, just to be fast. I much prefer tracks with well-defined limits. Just look at those incident points for EVERYONE in the race summary. That's just bad track design. Cheers, Sev

That's why I hate these stupid modern FIA circuits. You have all that green on the edge that has as much grip if not more than the bloody circuit, and you have to use it to go fast but use too much and your SR goes down a black hole never to be seen again. Austria is the same. You spend more time off track than on

I thoroughly enjoyed this one, your reactions to the off tracks were great 😂. Also made me feel a bit better about how many off tracks I've been getting at this track. But I learned a lot in terms of your line and track limits from this video, and just had a 0x race where I finished second, so thanks for that 👍🏻

Nice race 'mate', as you say across the pond!😆 Thought for sure you would get 'Ivan The Blinky' but, he held on. Off tracks in IRacing are astronomical compared to ACC online. We get 3 and it's a drive thru. Good stuff 'Mate'😆

This week I gave up to make other races at Imola with the Mazda for those awful off track, I can’t even fight properly without the risk of getting 1X, it is ridiculous.

@Dave Cam love the vid's as always man ty for the content but I also had a question on the overlays how did you split up the wind speed track temp like that? I can only get mine in a top to bottom overlay an it takes up a ton of room

Yes this track is all about momentum. Brake early and gentle, settle the car and let it roll through the turns 👍

My first race here this week was BRUTAL. I got put in a top split and was 3-4 seconds off everyone in the room, self-spun and just hated my time. Ran another one and managed to cut my times down into the 2.00 range, but my god...what a pain in the ass track.

What's your screen situation now Dave? I see the triples are gone and the angle looks like your screen quite a way back from you... losing valuable FOV! 😅 Other than that, a request to do a Radical SR10 stream/race! Although Interlagos this week is a B*tch. Side note, I have that exact McLaren 310mm Sparco rim that is on screen and love it. I'd be curious what your favorites size rim is for your overall iRacing.

Hi Dave, a few requests/suggestions: 1) I would like to see the relative time. 2) Keep the webcam image when you switch to the TV screen (just like you have it on the cockpit screen). 3) Show the offtrack messages. It's not being displayed. Thanks and cheers from Brazil 🇧🇷
