Take a look at our latest video on a partridge shoot at the magnificent Warter Priory. After the days shooting we join Christine in the kitchen to look at some of the mouthwatering benefits of Game shooting. Amanda Hemstock of AH Fascinator and Feather Design also shows us her intricate works of art made from the birds feathers. There is also a nice section on the all important pickers up. They put there dogs into action for the camera.

Great film Dave. This is the sort of message about game shooting that needs to get out to a wider audience. It would be good to see this on regular TV.

Best video yet! Very informative showing the other parts of the day apart of pulling the trigger. Great that you showed all the bird gets used nothing wasted. Hope it gives some of the people who disagree with our sport a different view. I believe our sport is the only one that affects so much, from wildlife benefitting to giving all types of jobs to local communities.

I live in Maine and its amazing to watch gentleman hunt ... Some of your tactics are the same some are not but the respect of the beast is universal I'd love to unload shoulder to shoulder with European hunters

If you had to choose Dave, if you could only EAT either pheasant or partridge for the rest of your life, which would you choose? If Jonathan wants to answer, I'd like his opinion too. Those feather handicrafts were very nice. Nice addition to the show.

Greetings from Australia... I hope this is not an embarrassingly stupid question, BUT, here goes. When you shoot a bird and consequently eat it, what happens to all the pellets? How does lead go in food? Thank you.

No problems really there is usually very few pellets in shot highbirds and they are usually much larger pellets so diners could actually pick them out of the meat if any were found, i do not know of any issues with lead pellets in food

well Paul i did take it off in the kitchen but some one didn't feel that was appropriate either, what does one do!
