Spectacular shoot indeed, Dave. Fabulous volume of birds, and as you mentioned every presentation that one could want. Not too many of them got by whatever was in those "Test Loads" you were shooting! Great to see you showcasing and encouraging the kids as you do and giving them a good role model to look up to. What a great film Dave, I really enjoyed watching this one. You shot very well, I just love to see you waiting for the higher birds above the others and then picking one and taking it with a clean kill. What I love about watching you shoot is you always seem to be fussy, only taking the good sporting birds that present a challenge instead of shooting to kill. It would be nice to see more of this on formal days.

I’m in the western US and I dream of one day having the opportunity to do a driven bird shoot at one of your fantastic estates. Don’t know if I’ll ever be able to afford it but a man can dream. Throw in some salmon fishing in Scotland and I’d die happy.

Sorry, but I really think that this paints shooting in a bad light. Double gunning Sept partridge just means that there have been too many put down. At least this time, you just went for a loader, which in itself is just there to increase your bag. It's really way past time that these big bags are consigned to history. Frankly, there's no need to double gun anything, even grouse.
