My 13 year old son was battling cancer for the 3rd time, and he and I would sing this every day at the top of our lungs in the car on the way to the transplant hospital for his daily treatments. He survived. Every time I hear this song, I think of those times. When DMB played it live a few years later while I was at their concert, I called my son on the phone so he could hear it live. Thanks guys.

My finace died the day before Thanksgiving in 2020. This was going to be our first dance. Today was the first day I got threw the whole song without breaking. I found him passed of a cardiac arrest. I dont think I'll ever get over losing him. This song just takes me back to our time together...Love you Jeremy..rest easy love

I’m laying in bed at 1:00am, and for some bizarre reason, this song came into my head and I had to hear it. I haven’t heard it in at least 3 years. When I was younger, my mom would play this and we would sing to it. I remember going on long drives and my mom would play this song on repeat just to annoy my dad. I completely forgot about this song until now, and I’m so happy I remembered it. Tomorrow, I will make my mom play it, and we will sing!

My father introduced me to Dave the moment I was born (2004) Constantly overplaying it and overplaying it until I finally understood what I was missing. I love this band with every fibre of my being and I have for YEARS. Carter got me back into my drumming, I owe so much to these guys and I can’t wait to see them again at my next concert!

I still remember when I was 8 years old and my dad sat me down in front of our old windows silver computer thing, and played this video for me. This song was played at my mom's funeral. This was one of her favorite songs. My dad didn't choose it as most people thought he did. I chose this. For a long time it was always me and my mom. My dad was always doing his own thing. My dad cheated on my mom and my mom and i were going to live together, just us. Every time i would cry, she held me in her arms and she would tell me "you and me are unstoppable. Nothing can stand in our way as long as we are together." This is for you mom

My girlfriend and I listen to this song in the car when we were on our way to Acadia National park. It was bucket list to go there and I cried listening to it. I especially cried when we saw DMB in Gilford, NH and this song was played we sang at the top of our lungs and we held each other through the whole song. This is such a beautiful piece of music and I cry every time I hear this.

This song, makes the hairs on my arms stand up, it makes me feel totally free, lost and in love. I have always loved Dave Matthews, I remember listening "crash into me" & " american baby" with the sunroof and windows open driving down the mountain pass at Natures Valley.... dreaming imagining finding love and being happy and content as the music would make me feel. It was released Aug 24th 2009 (The worst times in near American History) I Pray for all suffering in Aleppo, Yemen, Iraq, Africa, Asia and even America and any other part of the world to stop.. Dave Matthews is a talented, lyrical genius and I'm in awe every time I watch him sing!! The depth of feeling in the lyrics that he sings with raw emotion in his voice and face, it's hard not to feel what he's feeling, especially in "some devil"...gives me chills lol

Saw them in the woodlands. They were like probably the best band I have ever seen live. They were perfect live.
