Daves MTX 125 - Fix and Test.
Was a nice evening and the field had recently been harvested so Dave and I decided to get the Bike out and try get it going.
this is also a test of my new camera setup, the quality is lowered for KZfaq. I film in 720p and render to a very compressed file, so the quality is lower than normal but my file size is really small.

I like that bike. I like fact it is an absolute wreck but still runs, I want one like that. A dead old heap of junk that still runs and rides.

lmao same, im 15 and reacting hella late but ok, i now have a little cross moped and im gonna get a mtx 110 or maybe 125. but for cross and rebuilding this is perfect, you dont ride a nice mtx in the mud thats a waste!

I just bought what you are talking about like 6 months ago.. An absolute wreck from 1997 but road legal 2stroke and so much fking fun! Picking up a donorbike next week, be prepared to do maintenance if you go this route - thankfully parts are cheap 😆 But it does pay back in sheer fun and surprisingly alot of compliments from middleaged guys that gets nostalgic lmfao.

Let go the gass. shoke on , 5 times kicking without trigger the gass and then it should start . Just helping.. if i do this like you , it takes hours , just let the carb filling up to get enough injecting gass to the cilinder. annyway , great done guys! Sorry for my bad english..

That thing has no compression i think because it is SO much easy to kick start it normaly thats very heavy to i think your cilinder is damaged if you would check this if you start it keep your hands by the exhaust if you feel pressure than it is good and Andre not

It didn't start right away because you were giving it full throttle while kicking it.

you know what the problem was? your carb sucks in to much air to run proper or you need to get a bigger sprayer ;)
