I love the nubs on the back! The switch REALLY needs those too. Also, I’m so glad all the new handhelds are coming with earphone jacks, it’s nice to have that option again 😊

This is a well done review. 😁 I appreciate the tactile info, and the comparison to the popular RG35XXH. I'd appreciate seeing how these handhelds do with the Contra test, loading up the game to check the D pad's directional sensitivity in gameplay.

If I knew then what I know now I'd have never bought the X55 But I will say I've had no issues with X55 unlike with 4 different RGB30 .... ive owned 4 rgb30 handhelds 1st unit quit charging 1 day before return window ended so I returned it 2nd unit all sound went away and no troubleshooting worked , was able to return it . 3rd unit was on 100% Battery So I Shut It Down To Play The Next Day And It Will Not Power On . I've Plugged It Into Charger Repeatedly And It Won't Charge Or Power On On Even Show A Power Light . And Now It's Past The Return Window . 4th Unit NO Issues Yet But I Can't Get Any Games To Fill The Screen Even When I Choose 1/1 Ratio .

What's the advantage of this over the Retroid Pocket S2? Seems like the S2 can play a few more games? Does this have a better UI?

Screen size mostly. The 2S does a bit more due to android. This is just Linux.

Personally I'd rather have the RGB30 myself. I don't think this form factor makes a ton of sense for a device with it's limitations in power. It's a widescreen display but doesn't really do well with playing modern consoles. I'd rather have something more close to native.

The RGB30 is underated by a lot of people it works great for my gaming taste right down to the Jelos os.

This kinda sucks, I absolutely love the form factor and the ergonomics of this device. If it only had better hardware. Even with a T610 (RP2S) chip would have worked wonders.
