Magnum Photographer David Alan Harvey on the subject of "HOME"
In collaboration with FUJIFILM, Magnum Photos is on a major new project exploring the subject of "HOME". An exhibition of the work will tour to seven cities around the world starting in March 2018, and be accompanied by a photobook.
16 Magnum Photographers will explore the theme of “HOME” for the project. Known for their wide range of approaches, Magnum Photos members produce documentary photography that encompasses art and photojournalism. Sharing the agency’s legacy for humanistic photography, associated with its founding in 1947, Magnum’s contemporary practitioners are united by a curiosity about the world. This project invites them to explore a universal subject familiar to us all.
“Home” is not only defined as a space for physical living. It holds various other associations that are emotional, biological, cultural and societal. These 16 photographers have been given an open brief to explore the subject through their own individual practices, the resulting work reflecting their personal take on a subject that we all record photographically.

The "music" volume is so high that it's distracting. Where can I see this without the music track playing constantly in the background?

I'm afraid not, ended up purchasing a generic camera insert and a cheapish satchel bag. Sort of works! Probably not as good as a dedicated product but hey.

It always makes me laugh when people make videos and include a musical score, that ends up competing with the verbal message they are trying to convey. Whenever I have been in a classroom learning from a teacher or in a lecture hall, I have never had the instructor or lecturer accompanied with a musical backup. I guess in these video presentations, it's their attempt at show business mixed with instruction. It's sad that they have not yet discovered, that it more often than not, rates as a failure. Especially when the music is either repetitive, annoying or just too loud. One thing is for sure, it really takes away from the learning experience. Believe me this video is far from the worst I have seen. But enjoying photo as I do, I would of liked to of heard this man talk clearly without having to compete with music.

Background Music too loud, too distracting...Unfortunately, all Magnum interviews are ruined with horribly loud background music, making it difficult to hear the photographer...Please get rid of the annoying useless music...THANK YOU!

Enjoying the series, but can’t believe that such professional photographers would allow such distracting lame music to accompany their creative work ethic. These are best viewed on “mute” with captions on.

The music has nothing to do with the video, Let him talk please . Its like a music track you hear usually in a small bar next to the pool in one of those resorts in Greece Islands , Or in any 3 stars hotel elevator in Dubai ,,,Come on please .
