The Bible does not teach women's ordination--for pastors and elders. All of the requirements are for men only. However, sometimes in certain churches, women must step forward and serve because either men are not there, or are too indolent to serve--but I would still say, not to ordain them--but do the work God calls them and us to do. Here's an interesting quote from the Lord's servant: "Eve had been perfectly happy by her husband's side in her Eden home; but, like restless modern Eves, she was flattered with the hope of entering a higher sphere than that which God had assigned her. In attempting to rise above her original position, she fell far below it. A similar result will be reached by all who are unwilling to take up cheerfully their life duties in accordance with God's plan." {AH 115.2}

It seems to me that the emphasis should be on "What does the Bible say?" rather than who's preaching what, what I've been taught, who's right and who's wrong, what we do at my church, etc., etc. I don't have to answer to David Asscherick or OurSword. God is going to hold me accountable for my wrongs and how I influence people. Period. It's really not rocket science. God teaches those who want to obey him. Wake up, people! There's a storm a comin'!

*I recently stepped back into my SDA church here in San Diego and was shocked to see how much it has changed. They remodeled the front pulpit stage area to a more darker type stage and they play drums, electric guitars, synthesizers and it seems more like a NIGHTCLUB!!! No one dresses respectfully....mostly jeans, t-shirts. Even all the pastors don't wear jackets or ties. The front entrance to the church has a coffee stand! I was floored! It almost seems like too much change for me. I looked up on KZfaq to see if other SDA churches have gotten more lax...and sure enough....all the major SDA churches in Loma Linda have followed the same relaxed path with music and dressing more relaxed. (La Sierra University Church, Loma Linda University Church, The Spanish SDA church, etc...All of them!) Anyways...I can see how society has changed the church and this is how things slowly change. No big deal...but subtle. So one wonders...will subtle changes start to make their way in church doctrinal beliefs? I did note church attendance was way down. Not sure if it was post pandemic reasons or not. I just remember our church was 90% full back 20 yrs ago.*

Very sad what’s happening to the church. But we should take heart, because that’s just as it was prophesied to be. EGW said “the church will appear to fall…but it will not fall.” So when we see the church has appeared to fall, let us look up because our redemption draws near 🙏

There is a place for all forms of worship, as long as it is a stepping stone for people to get into a closer relationship with Jesus, it's not about style, many old timers want old time church/standards/ preaching to finish the work, well it didn't work then, we are still here That said, find a fellowship that suits your growth toward Christ

Hasn't science proven that certain beats and sounds of music affect your brain in negative ways ? I'm speaking about California churches doing drums and other instruments. Also, doesn't God say to respect his house of worship? Just because young people see how " old " people worship doesn't make it the wrong way. There are ways that young people can worship with music and dress without disrespecting God and his house. There surely is leeway in our church that is not against God!

For many years I never knew there was a problem with woman's ordination. Now I know quite a bit more about it. My concern is that if it's not God's will He might not bless the church. When I first became aware of it the reasoning was that women needed women that could minister to them. Now the church which I attend has 5 women and 1 man elder. Our church is half full and I wondered it there's any linkage between the two? I wonder if David's attitude about divorce comes from his personal experience rather then what the bible says about it. Anyone that's heard his testimony should know what I'm talking about. He talked about the respect him and his brother had for their step-father. His situation turned out for the better but it's not that way for most of us. I'm a child of divorce and have experienced the damage it can have on families. I've become the black sheep in the family but I realized it's because I'm the one on the right track. I've been abandoned while the others are going their merry way living what they think is the good life. I don't know if any of them have a connection with God or the church any longer. I do have one step-son that I still communicate with. I've often thought that maybe I'm the link that's going to bring them back to God if I remain faithful. As for those that say they are no longer going to church, I have this suggestion and it's what I do. Go to church to give and try to make it a better place. Rather than allowing others to influence you, stand your ground and let others see Jesus in you. With all the things that are happening in this world, if there ever was a time to be in church, it's now!

“If there were twenty women where now there is one, who would make this holy mission (one-to-one ministry) their cherished work, we should see many more converted to the truth. The refining, softening influence of Christian women is needed in the great work of preaching the truth.” -Evangelism 471. “There are many . . . offices connected with the cause of God which our sisters are better qualified to fill than our brethren, and in which they might do efficient service.” -Welfare Ministry 147.

Amen. Let me plead with you for a quick moment. I saw a friend of mine, a new Adventist, also become discouraged when he realized how cold and unfaithful many are in the church...in his zeal he began studying with those who prey on new believers discouraged by sins within the church. They led him down a false path...claiming that the church had fallen and that a holier movement had arisen. This pleased satan. Now I fear he will be eternally lost. Don't give up on God's church. Be a light in the darkness. Spark a great revival of primitive godliness with your love and prayers. Do not grow critical of the brethren. :-)

I have been an SDA all my life; I am, in fact, a 4th generation SDA. It hurts me to see some of the choices being made in the church. But, if I wasn't an SDA, what else would I be if, as I do, I believe in the Bible as our guidebook? Hang in there! The remnant church will prevail! Just hold fast to the promises found in the Bible.

Marie, I am there with you, I understand exactly what you say, but remain because even if you think this won't make you grow, it will. I have been an SDA for 7 years, and as soon as I was baptized I started going to a different SDA church than the one where I was baptized. In this new one I was horrified at how fast they turned totally into a very VERY liberal SDA church. These people have rock and whatever you ask for when it comes to music. The ladies dress in the most revealing way! Super long earing, jewelry of all sorts, lots of makeup, and keep adding stuff. After church on the Sabbath they go to restaurants, drink alcohol, etc. I was very liberal I come from Cuba, and ad to that I was borne and raised atheist. Finding Jesus have changed me entirely, I have become all of that I looked down with pity when I saw a Christian. I finally after 4 years going to this church I had to leave. I go to another SDA, that has a little of everything, but I decided to stay, I am running out of options here, but I agree we need to keep growing and in a crazy church that won't happen. Keep studying the word. Isn't this a miracle??!! That we know we have found a place where the Bible is still the only guide for the Christian?? Christ sees us and will strengthen us as well, just keep moving forward ... to Him. :)

As of now I stop going to the building but I still make God's word my delight. I have a friend God has been showing the truth through me so we study together every Sabbath. Though I constantly give outreach materials I never invite anyone to the church because of the way they act in there. I would be to embarrassed to ask someone to come with me. I did bring someone once and a another Adventist cursed me out right in front of them because she misconstrued something I said. he at me looked like what in the world. lol They wouldn't believe that this is the remnant of God so I don't ask them to come. I just keep working for Jesus. The bible says a remnant from the remnant. so disappointing, and discouraging.

Hello, thank you for your reply. That is great to hear about some I the opportunities The Lord is giving you in reaching out to people. I know He will bless your efforts my friend. I feel like I'm definitely in the same boat as far as you are in that sense, we do what we can and what we know how and just really have to leave the rest up to God. And even if we don't see any "numbers" per se, it's really not about that anyway, it's about being where God wants us and playing the role He desires for us in the work as a whole. So stay encouraged in the work :) The reason I asked that in the first place is because I believe that you are someone who clearly has a desire to further God's work (or else you probably wouldn't be taking the time to make videos like this), and I wanted to just caution you about one aspect of the video in light of that fact. Before I do though, I want to be clear that I am with you 100% on your stance on the issue itself, and I appreciate you doing what you can to talk about it. The only thing I wanted to perhaps caution you on is just to be careful how you speak of God's servants. David is a man who, like us is doing what He can in the Lord's work, and someone who many people including myself have been very personally blessed and strengthened by. That does not mean he has everything right (we would be hard pressed to find anyone who does), but He is still doing a good work for The Lord. And I don't think you were trying to say that he is not, and I know you were mainly just trying to address the ordination issue, but it did come across a little bit like you were trying knit pick or just find something negative to point out about him. Maybe that wasn't your intention but it did come across that way. Yes address the important issues, but be careful that you are not casting the servants of God in an unfairly negative light, a that is something that both scripture and Ellen white have some very strong words about. Not trying to get down on you at all, but just wanted to give you a caution just as a brother in Christ, so I hope you will receive it as that. I appreciate your efforts in the Lords work my friend. Keep it up.

I agree. I never though I would see the day drums came into the sanctuary of an SDA church. They brought them in for our 1st service, and when I quit going to 1st and went to 2nd service, which is traditional, I caught some flak from a "church friend". Can't help it. The Holy Spirit convicted me and I had to listen. I enjoy church SO much more now without all the hubbub. It became more about the music than the praise. God bless you! May Jesus come back soon!

+dforncrook I don't know if that's the correct approach either... We don't want to add to God's word or Diminish. The angels sang in the beginning as God laid the foundations of the earth, we read in Job 38. Lucifer was gifted with his vocal chords, but he is a counterfeiter, and deceiver... He is the one that corrupts, good, godly, wholesome music. There is good music out there, and it's for us as believers to decide what that is... I personally don't think rock n' roll, and heavy metal music can be made 'Christian.' Even rap music's origins are said to have started in a tavern; with that being said, how can we make that which had such terrible beginnings, godly? Ephesians 5:11 ought to be our example "And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove (or censure, or expose as the NKJV reads) them." Please do look into this matter more from Scripture... Psalms 150 is one place to look.

Very good thoughts. Jesus Christ avoided a few controversial issues in His day as well. Things that were not seen as important to him. Like marriage in heaven, where people should worship, this hill or that hill, taxes. Some issues like music are dividing issues. If people were to put others first before themselves, these things would not be issues that are dividing our church. If it offends your brother, do not do it. Applies to everything. Also, your son is great! best video ever. He should be in the background from now on.

Women do not need to be ordained but let them minister as far as possible...so they can preach and teach and offer counsel or support to members but ordination is not required for that...it is always wise to be open minded but if Christ wanted a change in dual leadership he would have led the way by example...he did not call women to be a part of the 12 disciples....women are equal to men but are assigned different roles in life and the church...

I had to jump in on the subject of staying together for the sake of the children. I believe you should do everything to make your marriage work. But you are assuming that all situations are equal. If there is an abusive and even dangerous situation, you most certainly should not stay together for the sake of the children because the children could also be in danger. I don’t agree with everything that David Asscherick says or believes, but when you start talking about his running, it just sounds like nitpicking.

I've noticed subtle Nuance changes within David asscherick in his philosophy. as time went on I discovered there was a thing known as Desmond Ford and as I started comparing differences with those boundaries I realize that there is shades of Desmond Ford that I have realized that need to be just thrown in the trashcan of useless philosophies and David asscherick has been slipping more and more into a shade of Desmond Ford philosophy in one shape or form. it's more like a second or third generation of questions on Doctrine debates that took place in the 50s and 60s. I'll just stick to my Bible thank you👍 everything that we should wonder about and question should begin with the roots found in the Bible. God has given us the word in order to find out things that he thinks we need to know about they're in that word everything else, silence is golden. Deuteronomy 29 verse 29

Brother, I’m sorry but all of your arguments here are illogical. You’ve taken a few quotes out of context and built straw man arguments which you didn’t even tear down very successfully, but simply voiced your disdain. #1 if your marriage is a failed marriage and you are only staying together for the sake of the kids, then you can almost always assume that there has been some infidelity or worse. I’m one of those people who had my life destroyed when my parents finally divorced after staying together for the kids. My whole life crumbled when I realized that their marriage, and their Christianity as all based on lies. I spent nearly 10 years outside of the church because of the damage, and David is spot on with his comment that If that is the only remaining reason to stay together, it is better to separate. It doesn’t help the kids. #2 your argument about everything being disputed is so hard to listen to. It Al depends on who is disputing it. If you believe every study out there, and you don’t listen to other studies that dispute that information you can never arrive at truth. Yea everything should be disputed and you should always listen to both sides of issues so that you can discern truth for yourself. Those who live in their Adventist bubble and never listen to others with opposing views often end up like you, thinking people are somehow going off the liberal deep end when they continue studying and find their world view was previously too small. I’ve been listening to these guys for years and years and I’m thankful that they have been open minded enough to change their views on some things when presented with new truth and new evidence. Truth can stand up to criticism, doubt, questioning, and opposition. If you have not run your beliefs through any of that, how do you even know what you believe? Also, your black and white analogy first of all sounds a tad racist, so I hope you can modify that if you ever share with a diverse audience. And yes, you are right that there are some things that are bad and some things that are good. But when you are talking about people, there is so much grey area as we are all trying to learn to be Christ-like, yet we are still sinful. But if we sin are we evil? The things that are evil are things that lead to pain suffering and death. God hates those things because they hurt his kids. There is music that glorifies death and violence, and we should stay away from that as it is obviously anti-God. But aside from that, you have zero scriptural or spirit of prophecy evidence that syncopation and drums are in any way sinful. It is sad that so much time and energy are wasted on this subject when God himself is so silent on it. If it was important to God He would have said something. The fact that He did not means you and I should also not make it a big deal and waste precious time on it when we should be sharing God’s love with a dying world. I’m afraid that you are calling out men of God who are striving to serve Him. Be very careful when you criticize how people worship and share God, as God cursed Michael for criticizing how David danced before Him.

KELLOGG was a man of GOD until EGW rebuked him for venturing on LUCIFERS TERITORY ALPHA is what this guy is discussing In its human wisdom the world knows not God. Its wise men gather an imperfect knowledge of God through his created works, and then in their foolishness exalt nature and the laws of nature above nature's God. Nature is an open book which reveals God. All who are attracted to nature may behold in it the God that created them. But those who have not a knowledge of God, in their acceptance of the revelation God has made of himself in Christ, will obtain only an imperfect knowledge of God in nature. This knowledge, so far from giving elevated conceptions of God, so far from elevating the mind, the soul, the heart, and bringing the whole being into conformity to the will of God, will make men idolaters. Professing to be wise, they become as fools. GOD IS THE ALPHA + OMEGA DO WE SEE GODS PUNISHEMENT in NATURE - EVE - CAIN AND ABEL MOMENT - FLOOD GOD DID IT - not LUCIFER DA - FOCUS ON BEAUTY - OMEGA POINT - GOD IS OMEGA ONLY The beautiful, regular shaped mountains had disappeared. Stones, ledges, and ragged rocks appeared upon some parts of the earth which were before out of sight. Where had been hills and mountains, no traces of them were visible. Where had been beautiful plains covered with verdure and lovely plants, hills and mountains were formed of stones, trees, and earth, above the bodies of men and beasts. The whole surface of the earth presented an appearance of disorder. Some parts of the earth were more disfigured than the others. Wow how far we will go to support our views contradicting the clear with the obscure, no wonder the decline of moral standards in our Heavenly Fathers church. How sad that we would go to such lengths to pacify the world, to conform to ever changing cultures instead of sticking to the clear instructions and guidelines in God's word. In my Bible God clearly tells me that a woman should not hold the office of Pastor, Elder or Deacon in the church, God says it, I believe it and that settles it. Any person going to these lengths to justify their desires and to please the world should look at what the next thing is that will be justified by overiding the clear with the obscure.

I found it hard to listen to your words while staring at your shirt advertising a wine vineyard and seeing the wine goblets in the cabinet. I am not judging you. I can only hope that as you present these precious words of life that you will consider not only your demeanor and words, but your dress and background. All these speak loudly of your cause and commitment that you are espousing. I appreciate your insightful commentary on David's stance. I have held him in high esteem, but had began to hear how he was becoming more liberal. We must pray for him and others while they bear the burdens of the Lord's work. Now I'm concerned about David Asschericks validity. 😕 I guess I'll have to message him directly with direct questions. I've read the Scriptures and have concluded myself about wine, use of any alcoholic beverages. I humbly suggest u pay attention to all of your video effort details. You only get one shot sometimes to bring the Truth to someone-dont let time mistakes mess that up. Btw, I'm not saying to hide the T-shirt. I'm saying that if u support using alcohol at all, it isn't Biblical & then your T-shirt and wine glasses send a message of support. I grew up in a bar. I saw the alcohol problem before I ever looked at it Biblically. Ive been drunk five or six times. But I despise drinking now that I've realized it's negative reality and realize that Jesus isn't about to say 'its ok, drink this mind altering beverage'. It is absolutely true that we should not put a pastor in a pedestal. However, I know Steven Bohr personally, as He pastored our Church here in Fresno for many years, leaving to focus on Secrets Unsealed. I hope my words here have not been harsh. I do not mean them to be. I gave your video a thumbs up because the message was good. Thank you for the video. Keep on the straight and narrow. SOMEONE has to raise awareness. 🙏

Strife for the supremacy makes manifest a spirit that, if cherished, will eventually shut out from the kingdom of God those who cherish it. The peace of Christ cannot dwell in the mind and heart of a workman who criticizes and finds fault with another workman simply because the other does not practice the methods he thinks best, or because he feels that he is not appreciated. The Lord never blesses him who criticizes and accuses his brethren, for this is Satan's work.-Manuscript 21, 1894.

And finally. The order that was maintained in the early Christian church made it possible for them to move forward solidly as a well-disciplined army clad with the armor of God. companies of believers, though scattered over a large territory, were all members of one body; all moved in concert and in harmony with one another. When dissension arose in a local church, as later it did arise in Antioch and elsewhere, and the believers were unable to come to an agreement among themselves, such matters were not permitted to create a division in the church, but were referred to a general council of the entire body of believers, made up of appointed delegates from the various local churches, with the apostles and elders in positions of leading responsibility. Thus the efforts of Satan to attack the church in isolated places were met by concerted action on the part of all, and the plans of the enemy to disrupt and destroy were thwarted. AA 95.3 “God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” 1 Corinthians 14:33. He requires that order and system be observed in the conduct of church affairs today no less than in the days of old. He desires His work to be carried forward with thoroughness and exactness so that He may place upon it the seal of His approval. Christian is to be united with Christian, church with church, the human instrumentality co-operating with the divine, every agency subordinate to the Holy Spirit, and all combined in giving to the world the good tidings of the grace of God. AA 96.1 I sincerely hope Dwight k Nelson and David Asscherick read this..

Next one The same principles of piety and justice that were to guide the rulers among God’s people in the time of Moses and of David, were also to be followed by those given the oversight of the newly organized church of God in the gospel dispensation. In the work of setting things in order in all the churches, and ordaining suitable men to act as officers, the apostles held to the high standards of leadership outlined in the Old Testament Scriptures. They maintained that he who is called to stand in a position of leading responsibility in the church “must be blameless, as the steward of God; not self-willed, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; but a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate; holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.” Titus 1:7-9. I think all men and women can pastor to people if they have a good knowledge of the word, but no where in the bible where women priests, apostles, ordained ministers. from the bible, there is a clear distinction of roles from men, women, and even within the Godhead. Phoebe was called the same term which was applied to men. Junia was called an apostle. There is no office, only functions in the Spirit. Women can definitely preach, pastor, teach, serve, etc as all the early church did. Those terms have been misused and twisted from an action or function, to an office or role that only men could fill. All believers are priests to God, and sons and daughters prophesied on the day of Pentecost. The only head is Christ. Men are not head over women, as headship doctrine comes from deceivers and proud power hungry religious people. Head in context simply means source. It was to prove a specific point about Eve and Adam that related directly to that day, where people taught that Eve created Adam and gave him knowledge. God bless

This is something established by God at his word and no one on this earth, no one can change, or perhaps we are looking to the papacy with all this? Who says he is God on earth and can change the law of God. Consider what we are going to tell the people of God before you want to use human standards to guide the people. Thanks sir for that summary. After reading David's paper of his thoughts on w/o, it finally clicked to me that this is the reason my views have changed after I did my own study on ordination from the Word & SOP. God is good. And thanks for your video but I think it's unfair to do a presentation on comments that you have not gone to the brother for clarity, you had too many gaps for me yo take this as less than slandering your fellow brother, secondly, I failed to see the link of running & Dr Needley to the truth? Surely one is allowed to test all things for themselves before they accept them as gospel truth? Is it possible that David's comment on divorce was staying with an adulterous spouse on account of children?, did you consider that? And on the music part, is it okay to listen to non "Christian" classical music? If the answer is yes, how do we know if the concert that David took his students to wasn't like visiting an art gallery that depicts things of nature etc that aren't necessarily "religious?" I'm also disturbed that because you disagree with someone you cast a shadow even on unambiguous issues as our belief in a six day literal creation. I couldn't help but see you have issues with David. You realize that recently, the GC had changed the definitive view of an earth that's 6000 years old, so our fundamental belief # 4 now says the earth has been here in the recent past? But David wrote to the GC on the challenge of this adventist fundemenral belief as early as 2009? I don't know if you're familiar with how the light bearers' ministry evolved? It's amazing how in our days when someone is softened by the Holy Spirit from being an exerting domineering minister, we insult them & call them liberal? Your son in the background was just being a natural child & I felt you could have either invited him to sit with you or spoken to us as the audience that you're doing a home video so we needed to exercise patience as he acts naturally in his environment. Is the priesthood of ALL believers biblical.? Either we believe all of what is written in scripture or we don't. 1Peter is routinely left out of everyone's discussion of this argument. I suggest a study of Strong's exhausted Concordance to search through all scriptural references and follow the Bible. Let the Bible explain scripture. Scripture clearly says that all believers are members of God's royal priesthood... Who was ordained in scripture?--priests and prophets throughout the Bible. Take emotional response out of the issue. I further find it spurious when those who oppose women's ordination say that its ok for women to be prophets but not ordained as pastors. How do they split ordination that way when scripture does not? Perhaps, because if they don't then they can not recognize EGW as a prophet? We can not as humans call unclean what God has called clean or clean what God has called unclean. Throwing around some quotes and a few scriptures and your opinion of something someone wrote taken out of a multi page document and using surface comparisons of views of different leaders really gives no credence to anything you presented here in your video. Do you really think that what you are doing is pleasing before the Lord. EGW speaks very strongly against criticizing church leadership without much prayer, and going directly to a brother or sister privately first, then with another church member, etc etc, before speaking publicly. I think you owe a public and private apology to David Asscherick for the manner in which you have spoken about him and tried to surmise what you thought he was or was not saying. If you are only looking to increase your following by being "controversial" then that is your reward. But if you really care about the salvation of your fellow mankind then I think you need to evaluate what you are doing.

Many moons ago up in the northern part of the State of NY, where there is a wide range of forest, a man set out to cross a narrow strip of woods about three miles through. It was three miles directly across this neck of the forest; but another way led out into a vast wilderness. The man had a perfect compass (The Great Controversy) when he left for home. A day or so passed, and he did not reach home. His friends (at the Conference/division/local church) became alarmed as to his safety; and on learning that he had set out for home a day or so previous, instituted a search for him. At last, he was found under the snow, cold and stiff in death. On examining his person, it was found that he had not lost his compass, but close inspection revealed the fact that he had been tinkering with it in the vain hope (as in, the great hoax) of correcting the needle so as to make it point in what to him seemed the right direction for north. But, alas! The man was lost and therefore was not prepared to correct what seemed to him to be the wayward needle. Had he BELIEVED it, and let it alone, he would have been safely guided to his home. This man was no more under a delusion than are many other bewildered and lost ones, who, although they possess the sure compass of God’s Revelation--the Bible & SOP--fail to believe it, even seeking to change it to read as they think it should, and in consequence lose their lives in the great wilderness of sin and unbelief. [I know some think I am crazy but I put things in perspective to understand how foolish works for those who practice foolishness].

Kk, I hear you. But like Ellen White is the SDA prophet. There's no higher honor/title/ordination than that. Tell me if a pastor has more responsibility and power than a prophet. It's not even close. So for God to get hangup on 'Ordination' of women as being against his will just sounds strange to me. It's really taking the bible as words instead of ideas. Jesus wasn't communicating words and theology. He was communicating an idea to people's minds. It's the Pharisees who tended to get hooked on words. Jesus was like, "That's just not the point." I think in women's ordination the arguments against it tend to be very word specific. In my opinion, the Bible is trying to communicate ideas and principles through words, but the words aren't an end in themselves. Just my opinion. ✌️

l thought david was a good speaker also , but l heard a sermon of his titled , when God is silent ,, and he said that God was silent when Jesus was in the garden of ......... pleading for lost humanity, and to have strength to go through to the end , true one gospel does not say an angel came to strengthen Jesus ,, but another gospel does ,,and l am sure the S.O.P. will endorse that an angel was sent to strengthen Jesus

Wow so much of people trying to purify the church, yet when Jesus was asked about the topic he told us to grow together not pull the weeds, even told us to turn a blind eye, in his response to the 72 that returned and ask for fire, brimstone, etc, on those, boy his rebuke was brutally honest, he called them followers of the Devil. Listen to Jesus not the winds of strife.

You will know them by their fruit. This is true of music. I have seen the "wrong" music lead in wrong pathways. Split a whole church. Lost a whole generation of young people. We have no excuse as we are blessed with the Pen of Inspiration.

God established MEN as physical and SPIRITUAL leaders of the family at creation - NO "culture" involved. God established MEN as heads of the Sanctuary in the wilderness, NO "culture" involved, and there were PLENTY of women available, IF that was God's choice or intention. Jesus (the GOD of creation!) in the NEW TESTAMENT, chose and ORDAINED MEN as the prominent HEADS of His church, not because there were no women available, or because of "culture" but because HE was the one who established MALE Spiritual leadership at creation. The 12 He chose then - and ORDAINED, then chose other MALES in later positions of leadership as the church grew - NOT because of prevailing "culture", but because THAT was consistently, FROM CREATION, the way God established leadership roles in His movement. It's NOT about "culture", or "male chauvinism", but because of clear and consistent EXAMPLE of leadership as clearly displayed in both old and new testaments. God is NOT controlled by culture, HE is the MASTER of ALL cultures - and IF the only remaining leg of argument is that there is no "plain command AGAINST women's ordination", then that opens the gate wide to a vast multitude of OTHER late days "cultural" and social activities that ALSO are not clearly and specifically endorsed or forbidden by the Bible - do we REALLY want to go down that path?

This video is an utterly erroneous view. The Son is subject to the Father while still be equal with God! If you reject hierarchy you will reject it in Heaven. This whole sin problem started with resistance to the hierarchy God out in place. So with that attitude one can disqualify oneself from Heaven as “affliction shall not arise the second time”.

Tbh, Pastor David’s position is the one that is predominant in the Adventist Church. Churches that are okay with ordaining women do so and churches that aren’t okay with ordaining women don’t. I have no problem with that approach.

My friends, I appreciate all the responses to my questions. But I am still left with a dilemma. I will first quote in context the words of Ellen G. White as accurately as I am able and then follow up with several passages from Scripture which I am unable to reconcile. “…Our acts, our words, even our most secret motives, all have their weight in deciding our destiny for weal or woe. Though they may be forgotten by us, they will bear their testimony to justify or condemn, They go before us into judgment. The use of every talent will be scrutinized.” The Spirit of Prophecy pg.331 As I understand it, my deeds and sins and forgotten mis-deads with become the basis of my justification or condemnation and will be reviewed in the Investigative Judgment. As written in several places EGW says that all believes since Adam are undergoing the “searching scrutiny of Christ’s investigative judgment to determine if men are worthy of Eternal life.” Here is where I am specifically confused. I quote the essence of a Bible verse and you can look it up in context. Why is Jesus reviewing my sins when: 1. The central promise of the New Covenant is that “your sins and iniquities, I will remember their sins and iniquities no more.” Jeremiah 31:34, Hebrews 8:12,10:17 2. Jesus said: “He who believes in me will not come into condemnation (judgment) but is passed from death to life.” 3. Paul wrote: “There is therefore now no condemnation (judgment) to those who are in Christ Jesus…” Romans 8:1 “I give to them eternal life, and they shall not ever (literally) perish.” 4. Writer to the Hebrews, “For by the one offering (of the cross) He has made us perfect forever.” Hebrews 10:14 5. “Paul wrote to Titus , …” not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us.” Titus 3:5 6. Paul wrote in the first two chapter of Ephesians that believers are “seated in the heavenlies, sealed by the Spirit until the day of redemption, blessed us with every spiritual blessing, having obtained the inheritance, we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. If all these things are true, then why should I become an Adventist with its uncertainty and insecurity. EGW used the word “probation” over 1000 times in reference to believers in her writings, but the Bible never uses it once. I John 5:11-12 says that “he that has the Son has eternal life.” Rethinkingadventism.com

Jesus said, He/she that endures to the end shall be saved. Jesus brought out the height & depth & length & breadth of the love of God. He taught & guided & questioned & reproved & even rebuked His disciples: The kingdom of heaven is like... Blessed are the peacemakers... Who do men say that I, the son of man, am? Who do you, say that I am? Suffer little children, & forbid them not to come unto Me. You do not know what spirit you are of. Get, thee, behind Me, Satan. You shall deny Me. When the disciples asked Him questions, such as, Who then can be saved, or are You speaking this parable to us, or to all? Jesus always gave the conditions to enter the strait gate, none of which was possible without His continual saving them from their sins of selfishness, worldliness & hypocrisies unto His own righteousness of self-sacrificing, godliness, faithful trueness. He told them the character traits that do live forever in His Father, the Holy Spirit, & Himself. He spoke of them continuing with Him in His temptations. He could only continue with them in theirs if they would not take themselves out of His hands, if they would abide in Him, & let Him abide in them, if they would, endure to the end of their lives, even unto the end of the world. The power of the Lord was present to heal the Pharisees, the Sadducees, the scribes. Jesus washes us & makes us clean through the word that He speaks unto us. He imputes His life to our lives that we are accepted in Him, the Beloved, but He must IMPART His life to our lives, that we may BE like Him. As many as received Him. (Do you ever struggle with something that the Lord is asking you to be?) This is how the new covenant works: The Holy Spirit puts the Law into our minds & hearts as something to be thought of & desired as holy & just & good & then it is written in our minds into sensible, logical, thinking as well as our hearts into wholesome feelings, & emotions, coming out in a Christlike life! Yet, Jesus, never forces... We only endure to the end of our lives, or to the end of the world through our consent to His continual salvation from the sins we have committed & would commit UNTO the uttermost of infilling by His Holy Spirit. I hope this helps.

I can appreciate where you're coming from but your argument at 16:40 is the very same approach that you've condemned Asscherick for. As a sda christian for the past 35 years growing up in the very conservation Caribbean, I find we have a big challenge confusing 'thus saith the Lord' with 'thus saith the church'. I fear that you, and videos like this, are a big part of that challenge. Let's concentrate on what the Bible says and the God is love principle and not so much on which church leader is right or wrong based on how we've been cultured. At the risk of offending you, I could easily draw several parallels to how you've described Asscherick and how the Pharisees and Sadducees described Jesus. I'm sure that wasn't your intention so I'm not gonna go there. Let's just be careful how we analyze truth and principle vs. tradition and church culture. They are not the same. Remember, the P's & S's also genuinely believed they were acting on the side of truth and principle. Food for thought.

I agree! 👆🏼David’s messages are always Christ centered and draw all into a closer relationship with Jesus and this is character bashing! There are souls that need to hear the good news of salvation. Let’s focus on saving souls instead of trying to taint the character of someone doing the work of Jesus! 🙏🏼♥️

Sorry, I don’t think you are the Judge of David Asscherick. I highly recommend David’s Prophecy seminar, Discover Prophecy. Go and listen for yourself to David present God’s word, Then see if he is a true minister of the Gospel. Concerning the issue of women's ordination, where did that originate? I don't think it originated with the Seventh-day Adventist church. Correct me if I am wrong; but I believe it originated first with the world. It didn't start as a religious thing, I think it started with secular music about how strong women were. I remember a song long ago, even though I was then in my teens, I was attracted to the words of the song, "I Am Woman, Hear Me Roar." We really don't realize the effects these worldly music have on young people; it stays in your mind. Then I think from there the first-day churches started adopting a new roll for women in the church: eventually it was introduced into the SDA church. We felt that if the First-day churches are doing it and nothing seems wrong so why not: and this is because Bible doctrines have been watered down. I don't hear The Three Angeles Messages being preached in our churches at all. Nothing much to stir the people into preparing for the Second Coming of Jesus.. Sure, gospel preaching is wonderful but the message of the three angels in Revelation, according to the SOP should always be kept before the people. The teachings of Daniel and Revelation and the nearness of Christ return. The 10 virgins are asleep but suddenly all 10 will wake up at the passing of a National Sunday Law but 5 virgins will be left without oil in their lamps. May the Lord Jesus stir us, and stir me to prepare to meet Him and help others along the way as we journey through this wilderness. Amen
