So many people still underrate Benavidez just because he doesn't look slick or fancy in the ring. People criticize his defense and footwork. but this guy knows how to fucking fight. He has a good high guard that he loves to catch and shoot off of, he has very good reflexes for a guy his size and great instincts in the ring. His engine is also crazy good for a guy his size and he easily has the best combination punching at super middleweight and above. His hand speed is crazy and he has respectable power. I think Benavidez is a nightmare to fight for anybody. I am picking him to stop Canelo via referee stoppage or a corner stoppage.

KNown as John Bailey, later he became my wrestling coach also. ALso from a crap area where there aint much. But made it as far as fighting monty meza clay as a amatuer. Also Canelo wont be able to handle David. Hes 2 big and 2 much for him. Hes turns it up as they fight prolongs. Its the opposite of what normal people do. People usually TIRE, he don't. i don’t see him better than Canelo cuz imo he couldn’t stop Plant like Canelo did. Plant’s style is good but it only worked for 4 to 5 rounds and then Benavidez took it over after that. i don’t think he stops Canelo, i think Canelo beats him could be by KO or split decision (David has been dropped once)

Canelo made Plant better and tougher He got beat down by Benavidez, he was just very tough When Benavidez was dropped it was a knockdown cos he was caught off balance, not cos he was beaten down Canelo is fucking tough, but Benavidez is just as tough and has better offense, better counters and finishes better My money is on Benavidez It'll be a fucking war, but Benavidez by unanimous decision

Yes Canelo knocked out Plant, but the fight played out differently with plant between canelo and Benavidez. Canelo has more 1 punch KO power and managed to clip plant with a perfect shot and got him out of there. Plant also clinched a lot less against Canelo than he did against Benavidez. Benavidez put more of a beatdown on Plant than Canelo did. But regardless of who anybody thinks will win, this is the biggest fight in boxing and needs to happen. I am tired of seeing people try to discredit benavidez and try to say he doesn't deserve to fight Canelo. (not saying you are but just some people in general have been saying that)

He for sure will do it. I think he was waiting for David to cone up through the ranks and garner the hype behind him in order to make their fight a huge ppv event. I believe it will go down September 2024. It will be a huge payday for Canelo and David. Probably this will be Canelo’s last fight.
