About David Bowie:
David Bowie redefined musical genres and the potential of live performance for generations of music lovers. Creating and discarding a variety of personae and restlessly challenging musical boundaries, Bowie released timeless albums including Space Oddity, Hunky Dory, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust…, Aladdin Sane, Diamond Dogs, Young Americans, Station to Station, "Heroes,” Let's Dance, Heathen, The Next Day and many more. Blackstar, Bowie’s 28th and final studio album, was released on his 69th birthday, January 8, 2016. David Bowie died on January 10, 2016, two days after the release of Blackstar. His body of work, his influence on the worlds of music, art, fashion, film, theatre and beyond, and his legacy of innovation and reinvention will live forever. 2022 kicks off with Bowie at 75, a celebration of his 75th birthday with the Brilliant Adventure box set, the previously unreleased Toy, the 50th anniversary of Ziggy Stardust and a series of special events.

thank you, i was racking my brain trying to remember the guitar player's name. incredibly under rated but when you have bowie out front you're just lucky to be there playing with him i suppose. their creativity was boundless. one never had to worry if "bowie's new album" was going to be any good. all we cared about was getting tickets to see him which i was fortunate enough to do on 2 occasions at MSG and radio city music hall in '74 and '76 or '77, i can't remember

David Bowie's music always spoke to me, was so damn dear to my heart. I struck on him immediately. He was ahead of the curve, in this day and age i reckon nobody can reach even the half what he did in his pomp. He's criminally banging, captivating and altogether a hunk with an awful lot of merits going for himself. I'm always all eyes and ears watching his nonesuch performances. He never missed a beat. That's the stuff. Rest in piece our beloved shape-shifting chameleon . My everlasting love beggars description.😍😍💕💕💞💞💗💗

Lyrics: I'm up on the eleventh floor And I'm watching the cruisers below He's down on the street And he's trying hard to pull sister Flo Oh, my heart's in the basement My weekend's at an all time low 'Cause she's hoping to score So I can't see her letting him go Walk out of her heart Walk out of her mind Oh, not her She's so swishy in her satin and tat In her frock coat and bipperty-bopperty hat Oh God, I could do better than that Oh, yeah She's an old-time ambassador Of sweet talking, night walking games Oh and she's known in the darkest clubs For pushing ahead of the dames If she says she can do it Then she can do it, she don't make false claims But she's a queen and such a queen Such a laughter is sucked in their brains Now she's leading him on And she'll lay him right down Yes, she's leading him on And she'll lay him right down But it could have been me Yes, it could have been me Why didn't I say? Why didn't I say? No, no, no She's so swishy in her satin and tat In her frock coat and bipperty-bopperty hat Oh God, I could do better than that So I lay down a while And I gaze at my hotel wall Oh, the cot is so cold It don't feel like no bed at all Yeah, I lay down a while And look at my hotel wall And he's down on the street So I throw both his bags down the hall And I'm phoning a cab 'Cause my stomach feels small There's a taste in my mouth And it's no taste at all It could have been me Oh yeah, it could have been me Why didn't I say? Why didn't I say? No, no, no She's so swishy in her satin and tat In her frock coat and bipperty-bopperty hat Oh God, I could do better than that Oh you betcha Oh yeah Uh-huh Mmm

Oh, the GOLDEN AGE of Rock N Roll. Many of those 'pure musicians' are now gone, but they will never be forgotten .🎵 My friend and I went to see two good buddies of Bowie, (Ian Hunter and Mick Ronson) play in a bar style venue during the mid 80s in Victoria, BC Canada, where Mick was playing at arms length away from our front row table . We are now in our 60s and we'll never forget that performance. Rest in Peace David & Mick. Thank you for the music.☮🎵

First artist I ever saw in concert was Bowie- 1983 Serious Moonlight in Auckland NZ. 80,000 people- amazing night I was 13 but still remember it like yesterday- it changed me.

Who rocks a 12 string on a track like this? So talented. A real bad ass band. Bowie was one of a kind. As we miss him, we have these works of brilliance to remember him.

Otro maravilloso recuerdo de mi DVD Best of Bowie. Nunca me cansaba de ver esta presentación y fue una de mis motivaciones para conseguir Hunky Dory cuanto antes. Es increíble como la música de Bowie me recuerda mi vida entera.

Dear Laura, I came here to listen to an old favourite and then I saw your comment. I'm studying Spanish. I am so pleased because without thinking I realised I could understand what you had written and not only that I found myself agreeing with exactly what you had said in your last sentence😃

He was a poet who happened to be musically gifted as well and set out to change the face of pop music, over and over again… one of a kind who will be missed as long as music will be around

Wow. Memories come flooding back. I'm so pleased to have seen him 5 times throughout his career. How privileged we were to have such a musical genius in our time. A big thanks to my school headmaster who allows me and a mate to have two days off school to go to London's Wembley hall to see him. Thank you Mr Parks at Studley Warks high school. From that point on Bowie made an impact for the whole of my life. I could have as many personas as I felt I needed. Thanks. Love to everyone who reads this.
