The entire Heathen album was masterful, from Slow Burn, to Everyone Says Hi, to Slip Away, & this opener which is done beautifully here... Again, ambience is one approach, as Bowie & Eno showed in the Trilogy many years back, but you also have to have the song itself, or the great pattern shifts, as is Bowie's trademark here & throughout his career... the legend never dies

Wow I just realised as I read your comment that Heathen is up there with many other DB classics. The tracks you mention are the reason I feel this. The modern era disconnects us from albums favouring individual songs. Hearing Sunday performed live recently, I had to look up the track to remind me of the album it’s from. I still have all the CDs.

❤just sold my David bowie collection to local record shop had boxs of his music 🎶 over 50years of music on records 😮people say why done this because I'm getting older 🧓 now people have my music 🎶 in there collections all safe in there homes ❤so makes me smile 😊still have the memories off the man who sold the world 🗺 and gave back in music 😊ower people freand David Bowie 😊

I happened upon this this morning and it literally stopped me in my tracks (I had KZfaq on my TV in my living room.) This is absolutely not only one of the best fan-made David Bowie videos EVER (if not the best,) it ranks among the very best of David's official videos, right up there with Life on Mars, for instance. And the fact that you put this together not long after after his death, well, I don't know how you did it. I couldn't get through WATCHING a Bowie video for two months after David's passing without gently weeping, gut-punched with sadness and profound feelings of loss, let alone create a video from scratch. I can't thank you enough, Sebastien, for this incredible labor of love you have gifted all us fans of David with. It's haunting, beautiful and spellbinding. It captures David's art in such a way that you cannot parse David from his art. David IS art; art IS David. It's just stunning, phenomenal; a revelation. An absolutely incredible video and work of art. Much love and deep, heartfelt gratitude to you. Now excuse me as I reach for some tissues.

You touched my soul with this video. The talent of David Bowie is limitless. He's obviously a Song writer like no other. And a voice second to none. And knowing exactly how a particular song should sound and finding the incredible muscians to get that sound. It all comes together as a collage of incredible music. Then this savant learns his passing is eminent, does he look for pitty? Or go into hiding? Lord knows I probably would. He only puts out probably his most relevant music that wraps you up in his deepest emotions where it hurts. David I have seen you many times. You never met me but I've met you. You are my friend and we will meet and I will introduce myself up there. REST MY FRIEND

David touches my inner core. Moves me like a chess piece with his soundscapes. This nurturing, intelligent, sweet man has enriched countless lives. May his wife remember the love, laughs and learning he brought to her life. She got to have him in a way many would envy. May his children always realize their blessing as well.

For the most part I don't like it when people alter his songs. But this...nothing short of breathtaking. Sound and vision both. It should tell you something that there is not a single "thumbs down" for it. That is extremely rare for anyone.

THE BEST Bowie tribute. Letting his voice alone carry the brilliantly edited visuals is genius. And the images, so haunting, so evocative...as if the man himself was watching his earlier life and images, reviewing it to the tune of (For me, personally) his best vocal. You have shared such a touching, classy and amazing compilation of all the diverse aspects of David' Bowies life, with rare photos and footage of his. It sent chills down my spine and held me spellbound as I watched it and you made me cry (which very few people have ever been able to do) because of how beautiful a tribute it was and the ending with him smiling and the Blackstar was sheer perfection on your part. If I was David Bowie I would have approved of it 100%. He is lucky to have a fan like you to do such an amazing tribute to him! Thank you for giving us, his other fans, a "keepsake" video of him to watch in the years to come when we want to take a moment of our time to remember him.
