Always a crowd-favorite, our thanks go out to David Cook for joining us for another year of Big Slick and performing at the Big Slick Party & Show. This year David performed "With a Little Help From My Friends" by the Beatles and "I Want It That Way" by Backstreet Boys (with a little help on backup vocals from our Big Slick hosts and their celebrity guests).
About Big Slick

The Big Slick Celebrity Weekend is an annual fundraising event hosted by some of Kansas City's most famous funny men and their friends. Paul Rudd, Jason Sudeikis, Rob Riggle, David Koechner and Eric Stonestreet and their friends come together each year to raise money for Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. Since its inception in 2010 Big Slick has raised more than $16 million dollars for pediatric cancer research. The 2022 event was held June 24-25, 2022. More info can be found at bigslickkc.org.

Thanks for posting this! The video is great. The audio is very odd though - what a shame! The rousing response of the huge audience really added so much to the performance, which someone has tried to filter out but with muddy results. An arena full of people were singing along practically from the first word! Cook's performance of the Beatles cover was exquisite with the original sound. Congratulations on raising so much $$ for a great cause again this year!

Thanks for the comments! Unfortunately we only had the mixdown track from the board, no individual tracks - so no way for us to "remix" and clean up, per se - and as you noted, those mics on stage don't capture the "roar" of the crowd (which was loud)....but what a great performance nonetheless! Cheers!
