I had the pleasure to actually talk to David Coverdale by phone. A radio station in Texas had him on...we were able to pick it up in Florida....and i thought it was a recording but it was live and taking calls so I said what the heck, called, DJ said hold and you're next to talk to David!!! I about passed out!!! He was so sweet and a total gentleman!!❤❤❤

Randy Rhoads Coverdale Whitesnake connection - Randy Rhoads and Dana Strum saw David Coverdale and Glen Hughs do a performance in LA after he auditioned for Ozzy.., now which John Sykes also saw Ozzy and Randy play in UK tour which influenced his playing and when he wrote all those Whitesnake album songs" still of the night" etc also which Rudy Sarzo and Tommy Aldridge ended up joining Whitesnake with , then years later Doug Aldrich ended up playing with Coverdale Whitesnake and he also played with Glen Hughs in the Dead Daisies band which Doug also saw Randy play and met Randy at the Whiskey on the blizzard tour.. !! That's crazy!

David looks to be in better health now than when I saw him last on That Metal Show. Lots more energy.

On Whitesnake's "Farewell Tour" of '97, DC's hair was around the same length as it is on this video. Someone shouted: "What did you do to your hair?" David explained that he had a new grandson, and reminded us that babies like to climb long hair!🤣

DC is such an incredible interview, no matter who is doing the interviewing. His ability to fully recall moments from the past is so rare in the classic rock world these days. I'm thinking maybe its because of his very sane decision in the late '80s to put the brakes on the "typical rockstar lifestyle" and put the focus on his physical and mental health. I don't want to name names, but not many of the "greats" from that era had the same level of self-awareness or the forethought... and you can see (and hear) the difference today. 😉 This was an informative, fun half hour to start my day with! 💛🕊

David is awesome such a laid-back guy. See him walking around in incline village up there by lake Tahoe. Him and his wife have carved out a great life together very happy for them. It's great he's going back and revisiting these older things and putting them together in these nice box sets too.

I met David Coverdale when Whitesnake opened for Quiet Riot in '83 I think it was. Met him, Rudy Sarzo, Carlos Cavazo, Neil Murray, John Sykes, Frankie Banali... Dubrow also. ALL of them were wonderful and as nice as can be to the young fans... all except for Dubrow... the rumors were absolutely true. I understand he mellowed a bit as time went on but from what I observed? I'm surprised there wasn't a weekly news spot of him getting beaten up early on.

I love this! So grateful I got to see you rockin’ at Hamar last year, you even sent me a smile - probably because I looked so happy. What a night! 🤍

I also know why, "Coverdale/Page", has the title. I view it as Jimmy Page's project (maybe it is both or even Coverdale's?) but the answer to me is simple but important and that is that it all rolls off of the tongue much better than, "Page/Coverdale". I personally and honestly think it is, again, both not only that simple but as well important. The other question pertaining to that was why did not have a more conceptualized title whether it being named after a song or not. In all honesty I think it worked for simply selling them as collaborative artist for the project as much as if not more so than anything else. It worked, baby, it worked.
