Diagnosed with tongue cancer 8 years ago ... cancer has returned in a different location under my tongue i had thought that at 8 years i had beat the cancer monster. ☹☹

Never saw a poster of cancer at the Dentist Office. Nor did one ever speak to me about until a white spot appeared at a dental check up- It’s a shame dental care is so overlooked by the medical community and out of reach for the average person

Was your white spot cancer? I have one on the side of my tongue that my dentist is watching closely.

@@jrbowdree1 Thanks for asking - I’m waiting to find out and hoping it not cancer b/c from what I’ve learned it’s pretty terrible
