If someone allows someone to commit evil acts when they can stop it, then they're just as bad as the evildoer. There's a strong case for them being worse. David knew EXACTLY what type of person Dom was but didn't give a damn until it risked his brand. Both "men" are Gross and neither are seeing the pearly gates when the time comes.

I always tell people that. If you are ignorant at least you can say you are ignorant to your actions. But if you are self aware and know you what did and you did nothing to change then it really makes worse then if you didnt know.

Definitely not, David knowing what he was doing and not doing anything is definitely horrid. But thinking they're the same is childish. There are absolutely levels to evil, and saying there isn't, actually diminishes the horrible thing. Because you're comparing it to something that obviously isn't as bad.

I remember when Alex Ernst (a vlog squad member who had the reputation of breaking furniture like tables) made a joke where he told Dom that in future he would knock on someone’s door and say “Hey I’m a Registered Sex Offender” back then it was just dark humor but now it’s become more real than ever. And I’m pretty sure Alex knew how creepy he was and knew he would always act around girls in a very creepy way

As others have said- I think you have it backwards, I doubt this was just a 'fake persona' that 'took over'- just like Heath Ledger (as you used an example) was not 'taken over' by the joker (Heath had depression and substance abuse before taking that role). Rather it was already Dom's personality that was allowed to go unchecked. He would be actually apologetic and change if that were true. He was looking for an excuse to get away with doing those things, and David nurtured it.
