Post Qing, it’s called “民国时期” or “中华民国” and now called “中国” (China), an abbreviation for People’s Republic of China (中华人民共和国). To my mind, we are ”华夏子孙”, children of Emperor Huang. We have historical responsibility to pass the torch to next generations and to advance our national and the global interests. To achieve this, we must communicate to the world (not just the West).
