One of the best all-terrain rippers of all time. Ridiculous rails, mini ramps, transition, pools, stairs...you name it and this dude went HUGE on it. I will never forget the impact this part had on me and I'm sure I'm not alone!

Just in the first 2 min of this video you can see the determination in this guy. After he bails, there's no cussing or freaking out, just right back up and on the board to try again. This guy rules.

This dude is just quintessential archetype of skater body and mind, brought into a modern age and new philosophy (of how high, fast, far, risky and technical)... his style is made made for water and waves, but his pain tolerance means he goes into battle with concrete, metal, jagged edges and gravity completely fearlessly and almost with a calm aura of joy.

One reason this is so sick to see which often might get overshadowed is how well he bails out of death defying situations. He could have been knocked out so many times or broken everything, but he somehow just walks the Hubba like a plank, or slides or rolls or some ninja shit everytime. Wow, it's rare that I get ill to my stomach by watching those insane inclines and huge rails and everything else on this vid. I imagined myself rolling up to those things. I would have been petrified. David has to be one of the bravest rippers out there.

First time seeing this beings I ride BMX, this dude SHREDS. Best part about it is all of the clips are RAW, no music. The sounds skateboards make on different surfaces have always sounded cool to me

I remember when I skated these younger kids coming up behind us that had that crazy thrash my body for an awesome trick mentality. I'm so glad they're still out there in this guy, homie mad props and much love keep thrashing.

This part and Figgys part in Bake and Destroy both dropped in 2012 and they changed shredsledding forever.

I downloaded the video from vimeo and uploaded it to youtube when i was like 15 years old. The one with 1.6 million views. This shit takes me back i almost shed a tear.

There is something ASMR-ISH to me when a skater is doing a few line tricks before hitting a handrail and lands his tricks so well he has no need to push in between them. It always looks so clean to me.

does anyone remember the ad in Thrasher 'the actual' Magazine that featured Coco Santiago ollieing those stairs that David is kickflipping in the still shot for this video? That ad (may have been spitfire) always blew me away and made Coco one of my all time favourite skaters, after searching out coverage of him, which is fucking rare, and precious. Coco was an early Hellrider and ATV.

I never was into this part because he made everything look so easy. This is so much dedication
