The number of people I've known, including myself, who have suffered a psychotic episodes after smoking the weed. My doctors said it's not the drug and more likely a genetic predisposition. Lots of people it seems have that predisposition! It's about time the medical world stopped trying to deny this fact.

A great interview: everything from drugs, black British actors in America, psychosis and social alienation by blacks and whites alike is discussed in a mature, informed manner. I've never seen this guy interviewed before but I'm very impressed... He reminds me of Seal....

I think, as sad as it is, that David had to go through this so he can teach others on behalf of others that aren't as strong as him. I wish my friend had somebody on her side. Her family have turned their backs on her and moved on with their lives. It was too late for me to help because she run away before I even found out she was ill. I just thought she was so busy working in her new career. I don't even know where she is. Her friends all disowned her. Not one has educated themselves on her condition. I wish they got mental health help so a shrink can tell them about that condition. I think about her daily

Man the acting this man on supergirl is amazing. If you watch the show you know this is the most wise man who has rage in him after the massacre of his family and planet. And his American accent is so good that I can barely even recognize him with his own accent

@The505Guys any caring professional doesn't "risk their own life" as this would be stupid. I know being sensible and brave are both essential to help others. Firefighters, doctors etc never "risk" anything in their important work. But there is a lot of unsung bravery in any town or village and this man here is talking sensibly and he sounds believable. I am happy for him he is also demonstrating self respect and an awareness of his own personal dignity. He is informative about a subject that is to some people fraught with potential judgements. Good on him.

On a side note…. Othello wasn’t even white! Most people assume his character was from Africa since he was a Moor but he could have been middle eastern as well. So it’s hilarious that white critics were upset that David was playing Othello when that’s probably closer to what Shakespeare had in mind. HIS story is a real thing y’all!

Lovely to hear Harewood speak, but although he might have been the first black actor to play 'Othello' at the National, he wasn't the first to black actor to portray 'Othello' in the 20th century. See kzfaq.info/get/bejne/brF5pMqIv9zbdWw.html

Very enlightening, excellent. I don't think this was psychosis from a strictly medical perspective. Mental health terms shouldn't just be appended to anything resembling them, it is too serious an issue for that.
