Thank you very much this is one the best documentaries I have seen of David Hockney and there are many excellent very good ones . But this was presented very much from the heart of someone who has such deep knowledge about him, even went to the same school as him. I really enjoyed it , what a truly amazing talk . David Hockey is just such an amazing inspiring human being who makes you question how we all see the world . He is also fascinating in the way he continues to embrace new technologies and sees their gift as well as their limitations but still somehow extracts the best from them without loosing his own artistic ability and creativity . He also has the amazing vision of pioneering his own 9 canon camera which was used along beautiful Yorkshire roads of him home . If you like Hockney this is a must see . A great pleasure to watch . I feel like I have been on a world tour through several centuries. Also as always he comes across as such a nice man and humble , no nonsense human being .

This is one of is one of the most interesting and inspiring talks given about Hockney or about any artist for that matter , I''ve yet seen on KZfaq. Mr. Saywell has an especially pleasant sounding voice ; one that is soothing and radiant with sensitivity and genuine enthusiasm for his subject.

There are a number of comments that remark how soothing Mr.Saywell's voice is in presenting this documentary. It was all I could do to not watch this. Mr Saywell's presentation is sluggish and monotone to distraction.
