Thanks so much for spotlighting mental health issues. Big boy bloater is a great friend, and wonderful musician, and along with his fabulous wife Lisa, certainly helped me understand and cope with my mental health issues and my depression. ❤❤❤ music especially live music is an incredibly therapeutic.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, and you're welcome. I can speak for every one of us here at MT when I say that music, gigs, and the whole scene around them are a massive part in keeping us going when times seem bad.

Great interview. So good to hear men talking about the battle for good mental health. Particularly interesting the role being creative plays in promoting that. The acceptance that getting to a good place is not a constant state or job done but something you must nurture and keep a check on so that you can react when the triggers threaten to take you back to that not so good place. Interview well worth the listen although I have absolutely no knowledge of the Moshville Times! Good to see you in action David!

Thank you for your comments, Val! This is one of a series of interviews we were lucky enough to conduct in the runup to Mental Health Awareness Week, and it was heartwarming to hear so many people being open about the problems they've faced, and their personal journeys in coming to terms with them.
