Buddy is simply the man. Style, swagger, timeless talent. Forever jealous and grateful.

Have been to Buddy’s club in Chicago many times; a marvellous place with marvellous people playing there - above all, Buddy Guy. And he is such a nice chap, too.

Buddy is the artists' artist. A great man who came before the likes o Clapton, Page, Beck, Richards and Billy G. A talent beyond description. Go Buddy GO!

This interview makes me love and respect Buddy even more now. Look how badly he wanted it from such an early age! Thank you for everything, man! You're a hero!

Love this! Watching in 2019. Just saw Buddy Guy in concert in Flagstaff AZ. I love that this interview is just about good times and good music instead of promoting something. Long live the blues and rock and roll

I saw him in Portland at the Roseland in '06. I had no idea I was checking off a bucket list item for myself 15 years early. What and utterly astonishing performer and true living legend.

Buddy Guy did not know at the time that the British invasion was all about raw power and Buddy Guy had that by the trackloads...his voice is very strong and his guitar tone is just hard and heavy WITHOUT OVERDRIVE....his is just like a bolt of lightning....very hard to see and impossible to lay hands on.

No one could play like Hendrix. No one could Sing and PLAY like Buddy Guy.
@joeblough2614 жыл бұрын
yes, Buddy's singing is so underrated or overshadowed by his own guitar playing seemingly. Dude's voice IS the blues, period.

Six time Grammy winner and guitar legend Buddy Guy spoke with us in a very entertaining interview back in 2001. We covered some amazing topics, including the release of Sweet Tea, exploring Mississippi, bringing in new fans, and creating new music! kzfaq.info?video_id=a1qhEYP7b9A
