Obviously talented, as he progressed, his nerves settled and it become obvious to me as one with no talent in singing that he forgot about everyone else in the room and it was just the two of them. I hope he continued his singing. Also can never come to terms with the standard of his English. Well done young man, a real pleasure to have watched you.

(Nice hat!) When a boy's voice starts changing, it's hard to keep your confidence and not be nervous or self-conscious about it. His voice is just starting to lower, and hasn't broken yet. Getting tips like this on how to find your new range and be sure of it really would help. The student has a really nice voice and is quick to pick up what the teacher is stelling him. The teacher is really good too, and he is easygoing, which helps clearly. Hmm, and the boy there now has his adult voice, whatever it changed into since he was in this video. I am not sure if boy sopranos go down to bass very much. My own voice ended up somewhere between tenor and bass, baritone. So My range feels odd to me, yet I can reach more than I used to think I could. (I'm amateur, I never had training.) So if I go too high, I have to transition into falsetto, and if I go too low into bass, I just can't reach low bass, and can't get any real sound out. But somehow, I have more range than I thought I did. So how a boy's voice changes, how he adjusts to it during that and then once his voice settles into his adult range, is really interesting. heh, I had a mid to high soprano voice as a kid, I think. The chance to make music and love it is awesome. I hope the boy still loves singing and still does sing in choral or other contexts. He should still have a good voice and skill.
