As an Arsenal fan I sometimes(?) get triggered about his unimaginable mistakes, but in general he is such a wonderful player with great mentality. Personally, I would like to see him playing as a defensive midfielder more.

Debruyne explained a similar thing on F2, going over the wall, straight with top spin for the dip and just making sure it's on target. One of the benefits of this is the keeper has to be thinking about where it's potentially going from these players which means if they decide to sneak one along the ground to a player around the wall, they're totally off guard.

People saying he is better as a CDM. He is an attacking defender and is fantastic at it. Ye, he can play as a CDM but he is better as a CB. The main issue with an attacking defender is that you need a solid CB next to him to cover him. Chelsea had that when John Terry was there, so I understand why he Lampard sold him. With Arsenal, the purchase made little sense there defending line is pretty poor. David Luiz gets unfairly critcised a lot but in the right team he is amazing.
