Recommended for the job by the legendary John Williams, David Newman was the lead arranger and score producer for Steven Spielberg's new West Side Story - working closely with music director Gustavo Dudamel and the incredible music department behind the film to preserve the integrity of Bernstein and Sondheim's iconic work - and to bring it to a new generation.
