Pasta is a legend! However the entire event was a complete joke, that tender relay thing did not work and the dunk drop thing should have been both go same time fastest sinks opponent. I wish they actually got back to a proper shootout with genuine tricks and goalies making proper saves. This is nothing more than scripted rubbish as it stands.

No, didn't catch it- I may have heard it, but that would be normal to many of us older hockey farts! As a little kid, there was NO cursing allowed at all-not using any lord's name in vain, couldn't damn anything. every week Christian/Catholic newspapers put out a new list of banned albums, shows, artists and activities. (Led Zeppelin was the devil worship band. ) Luckily there were enough irish-catholic in Boston not to ban sporting events! so on our first color TVs, we'd go up real close to look at what their mouths were saying - it was fascinating hearing/watching curse words in three different languages in the 60s and 70s! Live shows had censors sitting right there on stage ready to cut the feed, up through the late seventies. Comedians had to be clever, intelligent to get their point across without using certain vocabulary. Much more intelligent crowd - so the only place we heard this stuff? Hockey. But the thing was, there were boundaries. Away from hockey, away from sports and fixing cars? If you use bad language? You got a bar soap down your mouth! There was a time and a place.

Give the guy a break… they literally get fined if they get invited to the Allstar game and don’t go. Then they get told what event they have to do. Wanna be mad… blame the NHL execs who make up the All Star game ideas. I’m sure Pastrnak wasn’t thrilled about having to do this event, but at least he had a better idea than most of these in the history of this dumb idea. Happy Gilmore was a hockey player and wore a Bruins jersey in the movie. So there’s a connection there, and he nailed the mannerisms. It was actually a pretty good idea under the circumstances

It's gotten rediculous. If they are just gonna go out and have childish skits and what not, just make that a category. I think most actual fans would much rather see the best players in the world actually showcase their "skills" at a skill competition.

what the hell did I just watch. This Allstar crap and progressed even worse the actual game itself. Hockey has been turned into a shadow of its former self.
