We NEED to bring the hymns back into the church! The gospel message is simple and clear. It brings glory to God. Not repetitive contemporary music to make us feel good instead of hymns that spreads the gospel and gives praise to God.

I wish I could travel to the barn with my husband and hear you live. I am a full-time care taker for my geriatric parents. My Uncle for nine years before he passed away. My husband has given his life to our country. We only see one another 2-3 times per year. If it wasn’t for believing in the truth of Jesus Christ- “ He Lives, He Lives”...I’d be depressed and falling apart 24 hours a day. ✝️🙌

Me too along with "Blessed Assurance", "To God Be The Glory", Great Is Thy Faithfulness", Amazing Grace", and often ended the church service with "The Doxology" (praise God from whom all blessings flow). The churches today sing all the newer contemporary songs - how I miss the old hymns!

@@eh288 You should look up a Christian female artist named Cynthia Clawson who I THINK has an album called the Hymn Singer......she does a SPECTACULAR performance of "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus" as well as many other of the old hymns......I love her recording of "In The Garden" which was my Maternal Grandmother's favorite hymn and Grandma had a GORGEOUS garden.....for food and for amazing flowers!! God bless the Christian artists like David Phelps and others who keep these old hymns ALIVE!!

But when I got born again at 45 years old I realized that HE REALLY DOES WALK AND TALK WITH ME...along life's narrow way. Great arrangement. Ya'll pay attention to the words we sing and put them into practice. Jesus is Lord. The rapture is very soon. Be ready.
