So many great songs sung by him are amazing. He still has an amazing voice at 50+, but I think his older stuff is by far the best. I have been so blessed to see David live 11 times now and have been following him for more than 20 years. He is easily the best male vocalist in the world and has been for many years...and it is not even close. His range, tone, clarity, power and tenderness in his singing is like I have never heard from anyone ever before. I can never say enough good things about David Phelps. He has used his wonderful God-given talent to get God's word out to the world and he never ceases to amaze me with his voice.

There is no doubt David is one of THE voices EVER but I'm always impressed by the very end of this video when Bill Gaither pulls him back out of the crowd and he's so humble and celebrates those around him even though he was the soloist and did such an incredible job.

Brother, there's nothing like seeing him in person. You literally feel like you've walked thru Heavens Gates when he's nails it on every song I've ever heard him doing, which by the way it's pretty much every song he's recorded. God has TRULY blessed him and I pray he never loses sight of that fact.
