What an incredible player, programmer and human. David you mentioned at the end that Mr Rosenthal is the opposite of intimidating. He is . . . INSPIRING!! To start touring at 20 and perform with such fantastic names such as Billy Joel, Robert Palmer , Rainbow and Bruce Springsteen!! All the records he’s been a part of, whether recording music wise or playing 56 shows in 56 days !! 😮😮😮. Mind boggling is an understatement! When he mentioned he listened to YOUR shows as prep for his interview, he knew most everyone and was impressed by that. That my friends says something 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. I just listened to Captain Jack and Goodnight Saigon from Billy Joel. Both I’ve never heard before, so thank you for that! As always thank you soooo much for the shoutout and very kind words to Tammy’s Musical Stew. I’m honoured and proud to be a supporter. Sending much love from Canada 😊🇨🇦💜

I have been waiting for this over 40yrs. Blackmore called David a Genius and I won't doubt His Opinion. I just wish there were More questions about working with Ritchie!

Wish they'd talked a bit about how David joined Little Steven & The Disciples of Soul for their 1984 tour, that group was quite a motley crew of famous rock musicians. I saw that classic Rockpalast show in Germany, it was a really special moment that went out live on the radio and on TV and finally years later immortalized on a DVD release.

That was the challenge Larry - even over two episodes it feels like we barely scratched the surface :)

@@TheKeyboardChronicles That's true, David's been everywhere in his amazing career. I even 'met' him once sort of, he won't remember that I'm sure, before a Rainbow concert in Denmark '83. I was a young guy on a bicycle outside, backstage when they arrived. A gig incidentally, that got broken off half way through due to lighting gear falling down, band leaving the stage and show over. :)
