@@ilanjusth8989 Nothing to be sorry about. You just claimed your spot as a bonafide dumbass by comparing two such artists and different stylists that are not comparable to begin with. No pro musician I know (and I know quite a few in 50 years being a pro musician) would go out into the middle of the road like you just did and pull their pants down to expose themselves as a total jerk. Allow BOTH of these two unique souls and expressors of music to rest in peace....... and while you are at it leave the rest of us alone.

Pour le reste les gammes etc cac plaît ou ça plaît pas. Mais le son c’était son rayon…le choix des hanches ,leur entretien etc,,,les suraiguës aussi …un grand merci !

I was there in 1981 as a drummer with a college group. This night was amazing. I happened to stumble onto Sanborn, Robin Ford and the Yellow Jackets while they were rehearsing and laying down tracks at a studio the night before. I had just finished a trio gig and heard this amazing sound coming from an open door, A couple of guys invited me and the bass player to come in and check it out. It was a total groove session. Unbelieveable.

One doesn't appreciate great Music like this until it's Gone..........

@@davidseriff711 Jim Tyler was hot-rodding strats for some big-name players by '81, and I think I remember having seen Robben Ford on the roster. Looks like 1vol/1tone + on/off switches for each pickup. It's a Fender neck, but the jack plate is top-mount, which I don't think was typical of Jim's mods. Who knows?

So much has changed and there is alot of 'artificial filler' out there. Musicans who don't play from the soul as well as use their GOD GIVEN TALENT. This is just one ex of pure talent, real music, giving and getting in return. What a clip. If this doesn't inspire you then I am clueless as to what will. Ricky Lawson and MM=Domination..
