@@rogejimenez2841 no se niega. Se negó en el momento en el que vio claro la falta de respeto y dedicación del guionista/creador a su personaje. Al empezar Merlí Bruno y Pol eran igual de importantes y sin ningún motivo cada temporada decidieron ir rebajando a Bruno y haciendo más importante a Pol

Que gran actor y encima se ve muy simpático y muy humano. Qué pena que no le dieran mejor material en Sapere Aude. Su personaje se merecía mucho mejor. ¿Cómo pudo el que creó a Merli elegir terminar la historia de Bruno y Brunol de esta manera? es simplemente incomprensible

Gracias por esta entrevista. Bruno merecía mucho más en merli sapere No me gusto como terminaron la serie con brunol. los fans quisieron más de su historia. su última apariencia en la serie fue una decepción y no creo que Pol nunca se enamoró de bruno

@@dagobertobelloso2362 You are correct. removing Bruno from the series was a critical mistake by Lozano and the production team. Probably a fatal decision for the series. While the early cancellation doesn't allow us to see Bruno and Pol reconnect, we do know they end up together. This is confirmed by the story Sapere Aude is based on, by the 7-year jump that happens at the very end of Merli, and even by Lozano and Menna themselves in interviews.

Bruno did deserve a better representation in MSA. Unfortunately, that's just one of many bad or questionable decisions made by Lozano and the production team during the first and second seasons. I think we've seen enough evidence in Merli to show that Pol does love Bruno. Is he ready to examine at that complicated ball of something beyond friendship that Bruno occupies in his heart and mind? Nope.

Both actors needed compelling storylines to move their characters forward. Stories that allow them to develop independently, but to bring them together to move their combined story forward as needed. Sadly, it could have been done pretty easily had they gone with the 13 episode season format of merlee, and if they pared back the irrelevant storylines that contribute nothing to the overall story. Unfortunately, they tried to do too much story in those eight episodes of each season

si terminan estando juntos lo podemos ver en el salto temporal de 7 años despues del bachillerato, no sabemos como pero despues de acabada la universidad hay cuatro años que no se sabe que pasó

Vi primero los herederos de la tierra que merli y guau es un gran actor. Gracias nextflix. Igual me partieron el corazón no ver un final para bruno como se merecia. Creo que la segunda temporada hizo decaer un poco esta malas decisiones del creador el señor Hector es humano y creo que el actor tuvo razón. En la segunda temporada perdieron el rumbo y la esencia.

Too many bad choices by Lozano and the production team for the second season. Lozano's choice to write Bruno out of the season was a fatal one for the series. Sad because I doubt it would have taken much to keep David on board, and the end product would have been far superior. He deserved better in MSA. It's good to see that he's able to get good roles, and that Lozano's negative commentary towards him hasn't hurt him too badly.

Tienes toda la razón. Como pudieron borrar el personaje de Bruno cuando la relación entre Pol y Bruno era el alma de la serie. Todavía espero que algún día produzcan una secuela que nos muestre cómo estos dos personajes terminan juntos.

Se cagaron al personaje de Bruno en sapere .. la historia de Bruno hijo de merli encontrando su propio camino en historia con Pol .. lo volvieron celoso envidioso .. etc

Agree. The writer gutted much of what made the Bruno character likable from the Merli series, and replaced those traits with jealousy, depression, desperation and insecurity. It's a shame he and the writer couldn't find a middle ground that would keep Bruno in play. It's also a shame that Hector chose to end the series with a giant middle finger to the characters and fans who have followed that universe. I generally like SA for what it did with Pol, but disappointed they didn't offer the same development for Bruno. Honestly, I don't think Hector has a clue what to do with Bruno.

Absolutely true: Bruno was such an interesting complicated character in the earlier seasons, but they ruined him for the spin off. The character and this beautiful talented actor deserved better!

@@remomazzetti8757 Yes they did, and yes, he did. There are a number of ways to rationalize what Bruno is doing in the series. Unfortunately, there's no real explanation onscreen. I would attribute his behavior to emotionally crashing because of his father's death and the things left unsaid, his grandmother's depression, and the perception that he's losing his best friend. Barring any other explanation, I have to assume it's Hector choosing to undermine the character.

Here's the sad part... In MSA, If you sub Bruno in for Axle in the Pol/Axle storyline, it works almost perfectly as the beginning of their courtship with minor changes to the script. This also shows just how little thought they put into the Axle character. David wanted a storyline for Bruno in the second season. That could easily have been accomplished by dumping the 2-3 episodes worth of time wasted on Vicky, her cougars, Bolano's kid, and the Vicky/Alfonso bonding ritual over dead spouses. Lozano could have given David a storyline, add depth to the crappy HIV story, beefed up the debate scene to use it as a vehicle for Pol to understand what Bruno means, and add some depth to Pol's friends. Sad what should have been vs what we got. At the very minimum, even if Axle stayed in play, Bruno should have been in the background so the audience could see his progression as well.

❤❤❤yo me quedo con el final de Merli y su historia de que se casaron, la continuación no me gustó por qué como dice la historia es diferente entre estos personajes que marcaron mi vida personal, sinceramente Sapere aude no me gustó y me quedo con Merli y la historia de Bruno y polo y la muerte que me dolió bastante

Por fin, aunque tímidamente, dice lo que quedó claro en la primera temporada. Estaba incomodísimo con su papel de gay. Creo que si hubiera leído lo que le esperaba no hubiera aceptado y favor que nos hubiera hecho a todos. Su espantada dejando la serie a medias fue horrible para la serie y sus compañeros. No se como se dejó convencer para actuar en los últimos tres capítulos pero fue fantástico y personalmente creí que había madurado y me alegré. Pero entonces sufrió la venganza de Héctor Lozano y lo engatusó para Sapere Aude y ahí el pobre pagó carísimo su desplante en Merlí. El y todos nosotros. Fue increible que el odio de Lozano le llevara a hacer fracasar Sapere Aude y que por lo tanto le anularan la tercera temporada. Le estuvo bien empleado pero perdimos una historia que había sido una maravilla. Parece que David ha madurado, aunque lo creeré del todo si le veo en un papel gay y cómodo en él. En cuanto a Lozano no sé si aprendió la lección.

Agree. You have to wonder what was going through the minds of Lozano and the Movistar folks when they made the choice to minimize and remove Bruno. Just one more bad decision among many that severely impacted MSA. None of the second season storylines really made any sense. The disease was unnecessary, a cheap plot gimmick. Axel was a giant red flag. Under any other circumstance, Pol would never give him a second glance. Most of the other second season storylines are utterly irrelevant and a waste of screen time. The only positive things to take out of the second season - Pol graduates, his relationship with his father, and Axel is done and dusted.
